| May 9th - We have reached our goal!!! I collected the final money needed to push us oiver the top! A huge thank you to all who helped out to make this goal reachable. I said when we first started out that it would be a high goal to reach, but we did it. Please check under the *Things to think about* section and your email for other updates. April 23rd - The bake sale and fundraising event at Wallmart was a huge success! We made over $500 that day alone! The generosity of the community amazed me. I would like to say thanks to all those who helped out on that day and getting ready for that day. Check the chart below to see the progress we are making. Also, on May 4, the Relay for Life will have the honor of participating in the Monroe County Arts Councils Artwalk that will be held on Main Street in Stroudsburg. We aren�t sure if our team will be participating, but if you can get out there to support the ACS, you should do so. March 27th - I was able to get a corporate sponsor. The Company I work for, CIS, will be making a donation. Also, some other corporate sponsors may be Wawa corp. New York Yankees, and help from Walmart Co. I should have confirmation on the sponsors soon. I was able to secure a spot at Walmart in East Stroudsburg for a bake sale on April 21st. Hopefully this will last all day and we will raise allot of money EVERYONE PLEASE VOTE! - I need everyone to vote on the things listed below so we can get a general consensus. March 12th -- We need to get moving on a team name, and on some fund raising ideas. I have forms that need to be signed and donation receipts for everyone. Let�s get to work on some ideas ASAP. I will have the rest of the info from the meeting on the 11th posted soon. March 1st -- Web page creation - We thought this would be a good place to keep everyone updated on the relay. | Things To Think About |
| Last minute money getters!! There is about a week left till the relay, and you should be making those last minute drives. Lets get past our goal! We need volunteers to bring stuff to the event. Food, drinks, tents, games, anything else you can think of, let me know. Also, You could be thinking about events or ideas that could be done at the relay itself to make money. Examples that other teams are doing are: face painting, coffee sales, and longenberger basket raffles all night long. So if you have an idea, let me know.
