Well, sorry to everyone who loved the popups and the side banner, but those are gone on our new server. The new address is HTTP://DERANGEDSNAIL.50WEBS.COM. In thenew server, there are no, say again, NO ads! Its a free server, with unlimited bandwidth, but the file size limit is only 300kbs. Well servive, what with the video servers like put file. The Direnged Snail Team December 9, 2005 New site update, and staff update For everyone that still visits this site, we are currently not making any videos, and do not plan to for a bit of time right now. If you want, we will leave a message for the writer and the actors to see if they can't whip up a new episode of a glitch or a new web series. Remember, the writer and the actors are not to into making new videos right now, so you will have to talk them into it. The old new posts, and videos are currently being put into our new database, so if their not there, don't be too surprised. Happy November! Shotgun November 18, 2005. Deranged Snail 2.5! Welcome to Deranged Snail 2.5! In this post I hope to inform you about what is new, what is gone, and stuff that you could care less about (i.e. font sizes). I will also show you haw difficult it was to make this psot (not in any way shape or form a video). Lets get started! First off, I would like to point out how you can now cruze this sites very boring past and see how manny video projects we have done/wanted to do. To do this, simply scroll down the page to the very bottom, where you will see a few numbers (as of 7/2 there were 4). Each one of those numbers takes you to a diffrent page of arcived news for DSP. If You noticed that the size of the site is also smaller, that is because we wanted to ba able to have people with screen resolutions of 800x600 visit the site and not have to scroll to ether side. This also makes the theme of the site easyer to manage. In the video sections, you will notice that there are 3 Resolution videos, High (for people with brodband, and/or a good graphics card) Medium (for people with ok internet speed and/or a moderate graphics card), and Low (for people with a k56 modem and/or a crappy graphics card). We really hope that this helps those people who have either complaind about the video being too crapy or too big for them to download. On The Home page (here) there is a minimum of 6 pictures on this page (the top of the page, the "Navagation Bar" on the left, the background of the title for posts, the top of this body of text, the background of this text, and at the bottom of this text body) This is to reduse the loading time of the page for everyone (thats also why there are soooo many colors... 3). If you look on the Navigation bar, you will see that the font is the same as in Halo, this is posible because there is no thext realy there! Its a picture with a bunch of spaces over that link to the pages. For those that are asking what programs we used for editing the home page, here you go Yahoo Geocities Page builder, Paint, and my tolerance of making these pictures.
