Proof
(3/4 proof? But how did you know?)
Any I missed? Send it in!
SEASON 1 PROOF:
TEETH
4 asked where 3 was first.
MINI-GOLF
Not much, but in the end 3 and 4 were in a ping-pong team together.
OFFICE
4 was all set to jump to freedom, until 3 showed up, and he was prepared to save all the "Dumb girly-girls" for her safety
3 yelled "Numbuh foooooouuuuuuuuurrrrr!" all the time she was falling down the chute, and was really impatient to tell the boss guy to let Numbuh 4 down.
After he crashes, 3 gives 4 a big hug, and he looks all flustered.
ARCTIC
When Numbuh 3 tells Numbuh 4 that 30c's cool, he acts all jealous.
After 1,2,3, and 5 leave, 30c says "That Numbuh 3's kinda cute, huh?" and Numbuh 4 gets all flustered and changes the subject real quick
LICE
4 was the first one to realise it was 3 who was screaming.
CAMP
4 asked where 3 was first
PIANO
4 got really jealous when 3 said the new 4 was cute.
ZOO
3 was eating bugs out of 4's hair.
GROW-UP
3 hits 4 in the butt with a towel.
4 saved 3 from a fireball
They were next to each other nearly all the time
In the end credits, there was a pic of 4 giving 3 an ice lolly, and one of the KND looking at the stars, and 3+4's heads were touching!
SEASON 2 PROOF:
CATS
Think about it, Numbuh 3, instead of going on a murderous rampage (which she probably would have dine had any of the others broken her doll), dresses Numbuh 4 up as a doll she gets to say "I love you Mr Huggykins!" to, and who has to say "I love you!" back. Hmm?
When the crazy cat lady "eats" Wally, the last thing he says is "Tell Numbuh 3 I'm sorry!"
When 4 thanks 3 for saving him, she gives him a huge hug, and he looks all embarrased, then he says "I love you!"(And he didn't have to!!!) Would Numbuh 4 say that normally? Ho hum.
DATE
I think trhis is the biggest ever peice of proof, when 1 says they should "couple as so to look inconspicious", 3+4 immediently hld hands (their faces!) And they were dancing at the party!
FAST-FOOD
When Numbuh 3 stayed in the restraunt for too long, Numbuh 4 starts to regret letting her in alone.
When everyone though Numbuh 3 had got eaten, Numbuh 4 cried "NUMBUH THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
GHOST
4 was the first one who realised 3 was gone
After coming out of the grave, 3 was about to get sucked back in, and 4 stays to save her.
This isn't proof, but I find this funny. (well, it's kinda proof , cos she was really really crying)
"He was the smallest one of us, but he had the biggest heart! He may not have been the smartest, but he always meant well, and wanted to do the right thing. I.. I can still see him scampering around the treehouse, acting like was so big and tough... *SOBBING*"
What happened to Numbuh 4???? He isn't there, and there's a grave!?!?!
Actually, it was Chubbo, one of the treehouse hamsters.
FUGITIVE
When coming out of the school bus thingy, 3 was carrying 4.
BEACH
At the beginning when Kuki is building a sandcastle, she asks Wally if he could be her prince charming.
When 4 told 2+5 that they "made it personal by taking Numbuh 3", they sing "Wally and Kuki sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" And then he blushes, and says "She...urrr...just owes me a quarter!"
When Kuki tells Wally that she's getting married, he into a state of shock.
At the wedding, Wally asks Kuki if she's really going to marry that guy.
After the big fight between Sandy and Wally, him and Kuki run off, forgetting Hoagie and Abby!
UNDERCOVER
When they were tied to the big iceberg thingy, 4 is about to tell Numbuh 3 his true feelings, but she doesn't understand, so he gets these huge puppy-dog-eyes, and then they're saved. Damn.
END
After the decomissioning base-thingamajig falls down, we see Kuki and Wally hugging each other!
When they were "fishing for the moon", 3 began flirting with 4! *dies* His face!
When Tommy was going on about how he wanted to be in a treehouse with his own room and stuff, who were sitting next to each other?
At one point, Numbuh 4 pushed Numbuh 3 out of Numbuh 86's line of fire, then seconds later, she saved him!
SEASON 3 PROOF:
Credit for this proof (I haven't seen the eps, so I wouldn't know what to put), goes to Lizzi , and her cool-erific 3/4 shrine, Every Heart.
FUTURE
At the beginning of the ep., Kuki seems to have the most sympathy for Wally when he tells the KND he's going to boarding school. She also was the last person to say anything to him before he left: "Bye, Numbuh Four! Send me a funny postcard! *giggles*"
Kuki is always there to answer Wally's calls to the treehouse (even if he doesn't remain on the line long enough to say anything). She is the one who talks to Wally most in this episode. She's also uber-excited to see Wally when he calls.
This is kind of borderline proof, but when Wally hops out the window of the boarding house, he yells "Sayonara!", the Japanese word for "Seeya!" ...Wonder why he used that particular dialect? Hmm...
SALLY. Oh, my word. If this wasn't the biggest bit of "hidden" proof, I don't know what is! Let's take a moment to really examine this character, shall we?
1. First off, she's #3's granddaughter. This is obvious from her name (Sanban), and also her physical characteristics, not to mention a good deal of her personality and her love of rainbow monkeys. Old #4 actually allows her to speak with him, even though it's clear that the BND base is not girl-friendly area.
2. Look at her first name! "Sally"... looks an awful lot like "Wally", don't'cha think?
3. Looking at her, Sally looks like a cross between Kuki and Wally... this is kind of weird, but I first noticed this with her nose... Kuki's is kind of pointy like that, but hers points more to the side, like >. Wally's nose is upturned. Sally's nose looks like ^ , which is kind of a cross between their two noses. She's also got the temperment of Wally and Kuki, and she fights a lot like Wally.
When Sally brings up Kuki, old Wally kind of gets a sad look on his face as he sits there, remembering her. This is almost too sweet!
When old Wally travels to the past to get help, Kuki becomes extremely concerned whenever he tells them that Wally is in trouble! It was also totally sweet when she glanced back at old Wally as she was defending him in front of her teammates and said, "Sometimes a girl just knows..." SHE TOTALLY RECOGNIZED HIM! Ya know, in a very subtle way. Of course. And the look he gave her in return was just precious.
In the end, when old Wally is giving 10-year-old Wally advice, and he said, "And most important of all: I always regretted not asking out....", there are several things to note here. This is another one of the biggest pieces of proof in this whole episode!
1. The look on Wally's face when old Wally says this makes it look like he knows what the old guy is going to say, and caught his meaning, even though old Wally didn't get to finish his sentence.
2. Of course WE know old Wally was going to say he regretted not asking out Kuki, because we know (thanks to official sources and by the power of proof throughout awesome episodes like BEACH, for example) that Wally's one-and-only crush is, and always has been, Kuki!
3. It's also important to take note that old Wally called this the MOST IMPORTANT thing of all! He doesn't wanna make the same mistake twice! I, for one, don't think he will...
AFLOAT
After Kuki got eaten by the Great White Asparagus, and her Rainbow Monkey (or in Wally's case, the "cheeseburger") was on a plank of wood in the sea, Wally went out to get it, telling Abby that "Numbuh Three would want me to have it"
- When Wally starts rambling on and on about food as he drifts further into his hunger-induced stupor, they pan over to show numbuh 1 looking a little irritated with Wally's incessant ramblings. If you look at Kuki, though, she does not appear one bit irked, and doesn't seem to mind that Wally will not shut up...
-When Wally starts hallucinating about the rainbow monkey being a cheeseburger, he seems totally shocked (and appalled) that Kuki would not share it with him. And, of course he would be chasing Kuki; it's kind of ironic, really. I mean, from where I'm standing, he's kind of been "chasing" her since season one..
-It's funny, but this proof speculation came from something Abby said. When the great white asparagus got Kuki, and Wally started freaking out over the loss of the "cheeseburger", Abby looked at him and said, "Numbuh Four! That thing just ate Numbuh Three!" It wasn't so much what she said, but how she said it- her tone implied that he should care the most about what had just happened to Kuki.
-In the end, when they're on Stickybeard's ship, Kuki jumps into the candy pile right next to Wally. Or in front of him. Either way.
LEADER
When Lizzie told Wally to shut up about their tacky costumes, Kuki immediately snapped "Don't you tell Numbuh Four to shut up!"
-At the salon, Wally is sitting next to Kuki.
-More proof that Wally and Kuki make an awesome team: near the end where the kids are beating up the JV football players, Kuki and Wally kind of "tag-team" the one football player: Kuki jumps on his head, and then Wally delivers the next punch.
UTOPIA
-When Nigel finds his friends in the pool, Wally and Kuki are splashing each other and playing with each other in the water (note that neither of them have very much or any interaction with Hoagie or Abby! Their attention is totally on each other).
-Yes, the above bit of proof was a bit of "Chester-created" (or perhaps even "imaginatory images from Nigel's own psyche"?) proof, but if it was Chester-created... I think it's kind of funny that even one of the KND's nemeses knows that Wally and Kuki like each other!
-At the end, in the reality portion of the episode where the team is observing Chester in the tank, once again we have a scenario where Wally and Kuki are standing closest to each other.
-When they are leaving (just before Wally decides to switch the dial on the machine), Wally and Kuki are walking together out of the lab; the others were kind of "single-filing" out
ROBBERS
(yes, I was pretty shocked that ROBBERS actually had 3/4 proof, when Kuki wasn't even in it!!)
It wasn't so much that there was proof between Wally and Kuki as there was lack of proof between Wally and Abby.
Some folks will try and pair 4 and 5 together, thinking they've found proof in other ep.'s. However, if nothing else, this episode proves that Wally and Abby are just friends. They were far more friendly to each other in this than they were flirty. And it's not like they didn't have the opportunity to flirt with each other; they were the only two KND operatives in this mission! Prime example.
When the really big robber-kid is trying to talk Abby into giving him a kiss instead of her homework, what we don't see is Wally going out of his way to try and stop this kid or defend Abby. If it had been Kuki, I have a feeling the scenario would have gone totally different. After all, in BEACH we saw Wally try to take down 3 way-bigger kids plus twerpy little King Sandy when Kuki was in trouble. Here, he kind of just leaves Abby to it and instead is more pre-occupied with getting his homework back.
As for the whole "thinking the teacher is cute" thing... honestly. What kid hasn't had an innocent crush on a teacher of the opposite gender at some time in their school career? Besides, we all know that Numbuh Three is a far more realistic crush.
BUTT
submitted by Fizzy35
in op. Butt they show wuts going on in the tree house while #1 is at the beach ( or sneaking back) 2 times- both times # 3 is play a video game against # 4 ( she wins both times) and then when #1 quits the KND # 3 is sad and #4 is the only 1 trying 2 cheer her up. ( not doing a very good job)
