Home of the ultra complaisant
...and then depression set in
...and then depression set in is Pearce Dietrich, and sometimes Liza Dietrich. It come together after the indie-popsters Blain's Kids broke up. Pearce fronted the band alongside Keith Aukeman and Vince Smith.
The development of and then depression set in began with Keith Aukeman as a country project alongside 15 other side projects the two of use were developing. We played a town review (which was actually a revue, but was called a review) with our country songs. They didnt take very well. However our cover of Israel Kamakawiwo's "somewhere over the rainbow/wonderful world" was well recieved, but who gives a shit it's a cover. Note: when you compliment a cover, you are basically saying the rest of it was crap. So after that the project ended.
However I carried it on and developed other songs with it, but turned the country into a more space-indie feel. And it ultimately ended up as "Sad-Bastard Music" my first solo album.
After that I went to school, and try to develop something new. I came up with "Psychic Energizer". I threw out the accoustic domination of "Sad-Bastard Music" and went electronic.
The Future is unknown.
