A slightly warped picture of the band
This band is something else. I really have no idea what kind of music to classify them as. They've got bass, they've got drums, they've got samples of sounds... I dunno. The way that the singer does his music is more in the form of poetry than music.
I know of but two albums by Soul Coughing. Irrisistable Bliss, their latest album, is a work of art. Incredible music that meaning is portrayed through the lyrics and instruments rather than through tone of voice. The earlier album, Ruby Vroom, is a masterpiece, even better. I just do not have the words to describe this album.
