My Battle of the Swing Cities event is meant to bring dancers together with their team to show off what they've got. No, they don't win huge prizes, they're no, per se, professional dancers. This is a competition for those social dancers who want to get out in front of a crowd and show off their stuff. No booing, no hissing, no yelling out "YOU SUCK" 'cuz this is all about dancing and competing for the love of the dance, and not "who's better than who" 'cuz honestly, there's ALWAYS someone who's gonna be better than you on any certain day. Plus, this is a chance to dance with people from different places and make new friends (or lovers, or whatev). It's aaaaaaaall good when there's good music, good dancing, and good people. Whiney, bitchy, too judgemental people need not come to my events 'cuz there's no need for them...and I'll personally get rid of them myself.
I want to spread the joy. I want to spread the love. I want to spread creamy whip cream all over...um...ooops...lost my train of thought. I want other people to love the things I love...here, it's dancing. Pure, honest, energetic, beautiful dancing. That's all I ask for...and a pony.
