She was asked to join the new music band at the Yahweh Shammah Church, Johannesburg. That is when she discovered that she not only had the talent to sing but a call from God in the ministry of Jesus Chrict. People continuously testify to sense a touch of the Living God at Deo's singing.
Deo writes spiritually and Biblically inspired songs which she sings herself; and she also interpretes some of the most annointed common choruses and hymns of faith.
At present she is married to Pastor Bebly Chibangu, senior pastor of Yahweh Shammah Rod Of Faith Church, in Pretoria. The Lord continues to use her in bringing people into His presence through praise & worship. This is what she always strives for.
We can not deny Pastor Bebly's great support for his wife's ministry and vice versa. He was formerly one of the assistant pastors in Johannesburg in charge of Music in the church. He revolutionised gospel music in the French community in Jo'burg. He is now at the same time Deo's loving best friend, best pastor, music coach and Executive Director.
Before passing to high school, Deo asked her parents to send her to a music school but they rebuked her for asking something that was considered to be for failures. She then finished her high school at a "normal college" and graduated in Travel and Tourism.
But the burning for music had not stopped inside of her. Deo was thrilled in May 1993 when she was asked to be part of the new music band at Yahweh Shammah Assembly (church). As she led the praise and worship, God moved mightly amongst the people. "Everyone loves to hear Deo sing! ..."
The team leader was unforgettable Br John Kalombo who now lives in the UK. After a while the team leadership began to change and there was more and more talented artists joining the band, including: Br Kache Kashala, Br Berges Tusevo, Sr Vuvu, etc ...
The Second phase of Yahweh Shammah Assembly Band is now called the "Zamar's" with in addition: Aurelienne & Freddy Ntondele, Blandine Mbela, Coreain Kalenda, Phlory Suku, Alain Kakoma, etc, ... This team continues to perform in Johannesburg.
At present Deo still ministers through singing in Pretoria where she happily lives with her husband and children.
Deo's first recorded song was in Br. Kache Kashala's album: Sanjolama Nkosi in Jo'burg South Africa, 1996. She sang a mono song titled I Worship You My Lord which echos her love for God and continues to be broadcasted on the DRC TV channels.
The next Albums her voice is featured in are: "King Jesus le Roi" Br. John Kalombo, "Seigneur je me souvien" Sr. Aurelienne Ntondele, "Congo" Berges Tusevo, "Zamar" Yahweh Shammah Music, "Yadah" Zamar, etc...
In the famous team's Album called ZAMAR, Deo had sang two of her own written songs: Baba ngiya kubonga and Jubilee. They played 2 concerts in Johannesburg Hillbrow where especially the Congolese audience filled the place & signed their satisfaction & appreciation for their good work.
