(Contributed by Beverly Rivera) Remember the Ralstons Drug Store on Lyons Ave? I remember during the summer before they built the freeway when we were old enough to go places without our parents (I guess age 12 or 13), my sister Barbara, our good friend Debbie Woodal, and I would walk from our house on Boyce to Ralston on Lyons Ave. The big time! (Well, at that age it felt like going downtown!) We would sit at the counter and order lemonade or ice cream. We thought we were cool.
