Baby Bottle Tooth Decay
Nursing or bottle caries(cavities) describes a condition of rampant caries found in young children feeding from a bottle at night.  The reported prevalence ranges from 2.5% to 15%.
Try to wean your child from the bottle at 12 months and always give them water in the "bedtime" bottle!  If you are nursing, make sure you
clean their mouth after feedings.
To aid in the prevention of decay(cavities), schedule an appointment with your dental hygienist as early as the eruption of your child's first tooth.
