I love this site its just great!! Tons of information and easy to navigate. My one and only question is how may I aquire Fist of the North Star episodes subtitled or if they dont exist, in raw japanese. I've been looking so hard but cant find any, I got the tapes that manga made, but they dont go far at all in the series, and Im hoping sombody may be able to point me in the right direction to the find these tapes, or if you have them and can possibly sell me your copys or make a copy for me. Slide your left hand to your opponent's right ankle and twist to your right with both hands to force your opponent onto their stomach. Kneel onto your opponent's back, pinning your opponent's right leg to their back as you grab your o ponent's head with both hands and twist to the right untill you break your opponent's neck. While holding your opponent's head with your left hand, quickly deliver a right hand sword to your opponent's neck to complete the break and seperation. I saw Hokuto no ken anime series when I was studying in Japan about 10 years ago, and still the best manga/series that I ever seen. I like the use of Japanese language style, that I felt it is very strong and very "manhood" and also can touch my heart/fee ing. I still remember few dialouges that I interested at. Example: (Ken fight with Jyagi - Anime version) Mohaya Hokuto Shinken no Shinzui sura Wasuretanoka. Ikari wa, Nikutai wo Koutestu no Yoroi to Kasu koto -My Translation- You already forgotten about the 'core/essence' of Hokuto Shinken. 'Anger' makes the body to be a armor of steel. Your site is great, I am glad there are still Hokuto fans around after almost 12 years. The comic is a legend and the storyline is cool. It's a REAL men's comic. Unlike that bullshit Dragonball which just plain boring and evolved around a same stupid stor line "train-fight a stronger monster-train again-fight stronger monster-use dragonball to rez- repeat"(borrrrring), Toriyama Akira's best work still is Dr. Slump. Yu Yu Hakusho and Saint Seiya can't even compare to Hokuto with either the artwork or the i tensity. Keep up the great work and lets keep the Hokuto legend alive.

Hokuto Renkitouza is the ONLY PLACE where i can find complete explanations of FotNS in english. I've been looking around for a long time too! Fist of the North Star is without a doubt one of the BEST ANIME/MANGA SERIES out there right now. But something has to be brought to attention here. Manga Entertainment did have a good idea to bring fist of the north star over here, but i recently purchased the Dubbed version of Vol. 1. I must say this is the worst job at dubbing i have ever seen. The dubbing of the fist of the NS movie was better than the crap i saw and heard. First off, the music that Manga has added, the beginning music is cool, but the music during the show and t e ending music are TERRIBLE. The voice acting can be cmpared to resident evil's acting. Yes that bad. There are those subtle things that annoy me. Lynne's (i like "Rin" better) voice is very high pitched and annoying, kenshiro is okay but kinda sounds ussy compared to the movie's John Vickery, and Batt's (sadly called "bart") voice and acting are no better than a pile of dung. Im usually tolerant to these dubbings and dont care, but FotNS is a really good series only t get a half assed translation?? 'm not too sure but i think there is a whole lot of censoring, even for Manga (who translated ninja scroll ANOTHER MASTER PIECE). even though i only read vol.1 and 3 of the manga from viz, i still compare to two versions from what i read and what i see i Hokuto Renkitouza. Many lines are changes. For example, Mizumi the farmer is now "farmer smith" well i could go on but as soon as my page is up.....well we'll see. But if you plan on buying FotNS, then i suggest yu just fork out that extra Five Buc s for the subtitled version. Its worth the quality i guess, since you cant hear the american dubbings. If anyone gets the Subtitle version let me know how it is so i can know and hope that MANGA did not completely screw up FotNS. My email address is abo e. ~William Mark (LemLem)

I just checked out your 7 blasphemies page, and it's funny as hell! BTW, I wanted to chip in my 2 cents as far as character influences goes. Kenshiro in the beginning was definitely a Mad Max look alike(I think we all know that), which later kinda turned nto Sylvester Stallone in Cobra, when he was on the ship to the Shura Nation. I think you're a little judgemental on your "blasphemies" page. I assure you that I'm not much of a lowbrow "Beavis and Butt-head type" and I do agree with you about the HBO Fist of the North Star... But, I feel that your opinion of Streamline's version s a little harsh, and too dependant on the idea that everybody is a Kenshiro fan. Personally I prefer King Raoh, I liked their ability to cut to the freaking chase, and I feel that this anime ALMOST holds it's own with other greats like Ghost in the Shel , Akira, and Lodoss War.

This is an awesome site! I managed to watch the Hokuto no Ken reruns (autumn 95-winter 96) while I was living in Japan and got most of the episodes on tape! The anime had some episodes which were not found in the manga. Do you know why is that?
