A pictorial visit of our 2008 meetings
Janet Wheley Lives!
At least she did at our April 28th meeting. Rev. Elizabeth Meachen entertained us with her first person interpretation of a hard working 19th century woman. Thanks Elizabeth, for our trip to the past.
A Star in His Own Right!
On March 24th Francois Lachance, manger of the Star of the West Mill (Churchville, NY) gave an excellent Power Point program on the past history of milling and the future prospects and problems. Some of us were very lucky and won one of several 5 lb. bags of cake flour that he was kind enough to bring to the meeting. Thank you Francois for your time and knowledge. And of course the great flour!
Some eggs  can last forever!
In Febuary Karen Rapones program on Panorama Easter Eggs was deemed great fun by all of us.  Not only did we hear about the history of decorating eggs, but we also each had the opportunity to decorate an egg to take home.  Thanks, Karen, for bringing back so many childhood memories!
