| The Alarm - There is a full on alarm going into the car. It is a Viper 800 with quite a few extra bits. These include - 3 sirens (1 internal) - Voice comfirmation - Window automation - Car start from remote - Radar - Super bright LED and DEI flashing symbol - Boot release and a load more features. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Before construction of the new dash could take place, I had to remove the old dash (duh!). The picture on the left shows the basic dash removed with everything that was behind it still intact. As I plan to put the subwoofers up under the dash the heater and air conditioning have been sacrificed (oh the things we do). The second picture shows the heater, along with it's radiator removed. The radiator you can see is the air con. and this will be removed as soon as I can get the right tool. I am planning on fabricating a new heater which will be smaller and will be an on / off heater with the only outlet being the defrost vents. This will eliminate all the mechanisms and wiring loom that is associated with the normal heater set up. The weight of the mech. that has been removed is quite substantial and also opened a huge gap that will be quite capable of housing the 30 litre subwoofer enclosure. |

| These are the speakers. Left to right are 1 inch silk dome tweeters - 4 inch midrange (center channel) - 5 inch midrange - 6 inch midbass - 8inch subwoofers. 1 inch and five inch will be in a pod together in each corner of the dash firing across the car, the two 4 inchs will be in the centre of the dash close to the windscreen and the 8 inchs will be up under the dash on the passangers side for bass purposes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This handy wee gizmo is a heads up display rev counter / speedo. I will mount this in front of the driver and mould it into the top of the dash. It will be set to rev counter as I will still have a speedo in the middle of the console. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
