De Kleuterschool in Tokokoe Abudi
Tokokoe Abudi Kindergarten

When my parents came to visit Tokokoe for the second time we informed the people about our efforts to raise funds for their new primary school block. We asked them to show us what they could do, what their working abilities were as far a building is concerned. They promised to finish the Kindergarten in Abudi in the time my parents were in Tokokoe. And so they did!
The town crier went round and called everybody for work. They all came with pans to fetch sand and water. Building materials were bought and the finishing of the kindergarten started. The structure was in raw state, it needed to be plastered inside and out and doors and windows needed to be made. Some paint and what a result!
The people of Tokokoe were thrilled with the result and so were we. Amazing to see all of them work together for the benifit of their children!

To honour my mother for making the fininshing of the building possible. they named the school after my mother. She also promised to send lots of toys for the children. The toys have recently arrived!
