I am not happy about te exam that we wrote. Because the marks that we got were not good. The reaso why the marks were not good is that some of us did not pay the printing fees on time. So it was about one week to the holidays bfore they printed the papers. So that day when the papers were feady for us to do the exam, that day before the teachers were checking the mistakes in them. We didn' know what subjects we were going to do on the day coming. So we also took one which we thought we would do, but is not like that. We have to write the exam. I am not saying that it is the teachers fault, no it is our parents fault. So I have to tell my friend in form three that if they didn't take time and learn they will fall into a muddy pool.

One fine night, in the moon light and after a heavy rainfall, the two friends Korbina and Tawiah went in the forest to look for snails. In the forrest they used whistles to know one anothers movement. Usually when one whistled the other responded ahead of her. So they did as they kept moving forward, searching under leaves and the thickets for snails.
All of a sudden Tawiah found herself before a huge monster. It looked like a man with a bushy hairy face and red bright eyes. His fat calves were about 20 metres in circumference. She could either make any noise or talk but she could recite within herself: Jesus save me!
She didn't know how many hours or days she spent in the forest. However one afternoon, no sooner had she heard the sound of their village Asafo drum, than she realised her father holding her right arm. He was in the company of 15 men singing and chanting war songs. "Where is the  monster?", she asked afraid. "We chased it away.", said her father. Korbina came to warn us, so we immediately came. He began pulling her home. She was brought home on that same day. Since then, she never went into the forest for any hunting again.

In December three of my friends from the Netherlands came to visit me: Andre, Gerard and Marco. Andre has been to Tokokoe before, in January of last year. Gerard is Andre's brother, he is oone year older than Andre and lives in the United States of America. Marco is a lwayer (senyala), just like me.
They came in the night with an aeroplane (yamevu) from Germany. In Europe it is very cold now, especially at night. So they were happy to come to Ghana, where it is warm! We also visited Togo and Benin. Benin was called Dahomey in the past. Doesn't that mean 'place of snakes' ? When you cross the border you have to show your passport. A passport is small book that shows your identity. So if I show my passport they know I am Dennis.
In Benin we visited Ganvie. This is a village in the water. Alle the houses are in the water. They put sticks (atiwo) in the water first before they build their houses. All the people have little boats (akrowo).
I Togo we visited Lome and Kpalime beofre we crossed the border again to come to Tokokoe. Did you see us dance Agbadza?
We also visited Kumasi, Cape Coast and Accra. Gerard brought a volleyball for the school. I hear he has bought us two more! They are coming in February!
