Given creative freedom to utilize top design strategies, Dennis J. O'Boyle worked with North American Marketing Manager Dennis Walder on the development of this brochure, which rapidly became the Number One piece in company history by volume due to its excellent cover photo, text and graphics, all O'Boyle trademarks.
As the Form 5 and associated products represented a "new horizon" for the company, Walder provided the tag line and O'Boyle took it from there, providing the main photo from a stock house and taking all other brochure photos himself in the company's studio/training facility.
Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator were used to create and meld elements of the background and text, yielding a stunning, award-winning cover.
The product line included the vacuum-encapsulated cycloaliphatic epoxy resin VCS-1 with its rare-earth neodymium magnet technology -- a replacement for the oil-filled switchgear of yesteryear.
The sales force just loved the brochure, which went into its third printing within the first year.
