Known as "The VOICE" because of the deep, booming vocal tone reminiscent of Darth Vader (actor James Earl Jones) professional announcer Dennis J. O'Boyle has exceptionally gifted skills and many years of experience when it comes to sports announcing, audio/video narration and more. He holds a Master's Degree in Mass Communication and is the official announcer for numerous amateur athletic organizations.
A 1973 graduate of Solomon Juneau High School in Milwaukee where he won over 25 academic and athletic awards including four years of perfect attendance and selection to the National Honor Society, "The VOICE" played football in the University of Wisconsin system before transferring to Marquette University where he was a Language and Literature major, Psychology minor. He was a Crisis Counselor for several years at his "other alma mater", St. Charles Boys Home, and has served as a Graduate Assistant Instructor of the Dale Carnegie Course. Dennis is a past winner of the annual Milwaukee Advertising Club and UW- Extension advertising contest.

Dennis was "The VOICE of Grace Christian Academy" for three seasons and got his start announcing games at St. Paul's Lutheran School in West Allis, Wisconsin, in 1992, where he utilized his background as a former ad agency vice president in putting together the annual basketball tournament program booklet, instrumental in bringing in thousands of dollars from local advertisers. At St. Paul's, Dennis conducted the weekly radio broadcast of services for three years on WLZR-AM later WJYI, "Joy1340" in Milwaukee.
Television is also part of his background. Dennis has several years of experience as a floor director, cameraman, and telephone answerer/call screner for both live and tape-delayed programs produced at WVCY-TV30 in Milwaukee. He has written, narrated and produced numerous other audio-visual productions as well.
In addition to announcing activities, Dennis is the father of Kyle, Garret, and Ryan, student-athletes at Heritage Christian High School. During the day Dennis works as a technical and marketing communications professional, producing print and audio-vido documentation of all kinds. His wife, Kathy, a registered nurse, has been instrumental in the success Dennis and the family enjoy.
