Standing in the breakfast area looking toward the front door. You can see the pony wall that seperates the dining room and entryway. The electrical box hanging in the foreground controls the lights in the breakfast are and had to be relocated. It iis hanging just about where the original door intot he kitchen was located. To the right of the box was a wall which we removed. |

Basically the same view after we framed the arch onto the pony wall. As you can see, we carried the theme from the front door light into the house with the arches. The chandelier is an antique which I got from my great grandmothers house before it was demolished. |

Along with the interior remodel we have also been replacing all the window units. with these PVC double hung units. They have high E glass and are argon filled. |

My wife does most of the color painting as well as the texture and the tape and bed. She is putting on the first color coat of the new wall treatment. I put up a base coat and she is dry brushing on the first color coat. Notice also that we moved the electrical box for the chandelier to center it over the dining table location. |
