Directions from AÉROPORT DE LYON-SAINT EXUPERY to Trévoux/Anse
- Follow direction Boug En Bresse -Genève –Pusignan on D517
- Take highway A432 for 10 km direction Boug En Bresse -Genève –Pusignan
- Take A42 for 8 km direction Lyon – Paris
- When getting close to Lyon, take A46 Direction Paris – Villefranche s/s (you will be going up hill to follow this direction)
- Stay on A46 for 16 km (flat)
- Take the exit: Trévoux Neuville-Sur-Saône (you will be going down hill)
- At the exit, you will get to a roundabout, take a right onto D933 for 6 km in direction of Trévoux
- Cross Trévoux, always going straight in direction of Saint-Bernard. You will cross the Saône (sounds like “sown”) river at Saint-Bernard (you will see the castle of “Utrillo” on your left just before the bridge)
- After the bridge, you will get to a roundabout, just get going straight, you will go under a train bridge and get to a yield (cédez-le-passage), turn right and almost right away take a left. From the yield you will see a sign for the Hôtel restaurant du Saint-Romain. From there, just follow the signs for the restaurant. There is a big parking lot in the hotel yard.
Directions from Lyon to Anse
- There are two stations where the TGV stops from Paris. The first one is “Gare de la Part-Dieu”, the second one is “Gare de Perrache”. It does not really matter to which one you go to, both have rental cars around. Even if your train ticket says that you have to go at one station, you can go to the other one, the tickets are checked only between Paris and the first station and nobody is assigned to your seat in-between the two stations.
- From Lyon, you will want to follow signs taking you to Paris or to Geneve and then Paris, depending on which part of Lyon you are.
- If you are on the North/West side, you have two options, take the highway and exit at Villefranche sur Saône (it will cost you about a euro) or take the “route national 6” (RN6) but it can sound a little trickier.
Highway from the North/West side.
- From Perrache, you will want to go onto the highway A6 (signs will have this icon  in the direction of Paris.
- Take the Villefranche sur Saône exit. After going through the toll, you will get to the roundabout (yeah yeah yeah, we got a discount on them this is why they bloom all over our roads, no kidding, you will be going from roundabout to roundabout), follow the direction “Lyon par RN 6” (Anse might be mentioned but I am not sure). These signs will take you to RN6, keep going until you reach Anse. You will see a sign for the hotel shortly after entering the city and passing two gas stations. The road to the hotel will be to your right.
