A man stopped off at the local bar for a drink one Friday after a very bad week. He ordered a martini from the new bartender, and it was terrible.
The blonde sitting next to him at the bar also had a martini, and they discussed how bad the martinis were.
She said "Why don't you come over to my apartment and I will make some good martinis."
One thing led to another, the next thing they knew they awoke in bed at 3:00 AM.
She asks him, "What are you going to tell your wife"?
"No problem", he says, "do you have any talcum powder?" He takes the talc and sprinkles it over his hands and down the front of his clothes.
When he arrives home, his wife immediately asks, "Where have you been"?
He says, "You are not going to believe this, but I stopped off for a drink. This blonde and I were discussing the martinis. Then we went to her appartment, drank martinis, made love, and fell asleep."
His wife says, "Let me see your hands. Just as I thought, another one of your wild, crazy stories . . . You were shooting pool, weren't you?"
