Ches 22-25 1369:
The Heroes finish off the trolls,
Sorbe tells of her vision woes
About her patron goddess needing her aid.
The Heroes decide to leave the giant raid,
To the City of the Stars they return,
Of Aremis the Great they learn.
Aremis inquires what is in it for him,
The Hellspike they tell stories grim.
Intrigued, he agrees to help them
If they take him to this living prison.
Smitty suddenly attacks the team.
He is disenchanted from this scheme.
The Heroes take Aremis to the Hellspike, and quickly return.
It is decided they in the morning will be the next turn.
Altanch 25 5222:
The Heroes return to Candlekeep to learn and seek,
The only book about Karsus has pages tweaked.
Sorbe then teleports the Heroes to Karse,
No longer a desert large and sparse
They are in a dense forest, and there are flying cities above them. Smitty loses contact with Ilmater and Regalla loses it with Mystra, and they learn the Netherese are still in control, in fact of the entire world. Sorbe learns that Chand has become Mystryl, confirmed by Harold, the new Prophet of Mystryl. They also learn that Shar is now the greatest of all the gods, possessing the Karsus Stone. They return to City of the Stars fifteen days in the past and seem to change the timeline every time they teleport.
Altanch 25 - 26 5222: The Heroes find Aremis in a library and Time travel is outlawed by Shar. In fact, Aremis takes them to a secret room to even talk about it. Clearly, he doesn't believe it. The next day they use the scrying wall to watch Chand, discovering that every year he blinks momentarily out of the of the picture - otherwise, he lives a very mundane life. They use Harold's commune to find out more information.
Altanch 25 5222 - Althanch 27 3495: The Heroes continue to try to convince Aremis to aid them, using various arguments and tactics. In the end he decides to take a chance that their story is true and joins them. The Heroes return to Faerun, then Aremis uses his spell to send them back to just before Chand's arrival. They travel to Yeoman's Loft to begin searching for either Chand or Karsus. There, they find Noepheus, the archmage opponent of Karsus and the eventual founder of the City of the Stars (when he fled the Fall). He convinces them to help recover his wife's body from the cemetary below the floating city, as it is overrun by elves (the enemies of the people of Yeoman's Loft). The Heroes discover the elves aren't quite what they are portrayed as, then find the cemetary has been ransacked of all bodies, except for those carefully left behind to make it look like a human-elven battle happened.
Althanch 27 - 28 3495: The Heroes track the trail they believe to be the true culprits of the carnage at the cemetary. Along the way they discover a frozen body (Raliteff?) of an ambushed wizard with information on the atrocities of the Archwizards, as well as a map to some hidden Nether Scrolls. They then are attacked by some wights and then some orcs.
Althanch 28 3495: The Heroes track along the trail and encounter what caused the orcs to panic: a mountain giant with two galeb duhrs and two huge owlbears, followed by a beholder. It is a tough battle, but the Heroes prevail. It appears that this is a pressgang for the Lichlord.
Althanch 28 - Periwich 6 3495: The Heroes continue on and encounter a beautiful girl on the trail seemingly in a trance. Then four mages buswhack them, using some very powerful spells. In the end, the Heroes prevail, but not without loosing Regalla, Conner, Aremis, and Noepheus. They decide there is no reason to press on to look for the latter's wife, so they return to Yoeman's Loft. They pay to have Regalla true ressurrected, then begin the debate on what to do next. They decide to wait until Chand appears. When he does, they surprise him and begin a discussion with him to stop his actions. Then it becomes a debate on whether they should stop Karsus or not. Sorbe is adamant they should stop Karsus because he killed a goddess. Chand tries to pursuade them to allow the natural history to happen, though it is decided that they have already changed enough of history with allowing Noepheus to be killed, and thus not found The City of the Stars.
6 Periwich 3495 - 15 Tarsahk 1376: The Heroes move forward in time to their own time to determine whether they made any significant change. They return to Neverwinter and learn that the Zhentil Keep Empire and the Thayan Magiocracy have allied to invade and rule over much of Faerun. Only the Axis of the free states of the Sword Coast (including Neverwinter) and the southern lands of Halruaa have resisted the advances of the Allies. Though they learn there is sizable resistance in Mulhorand, Unther, Chessenta, and Chondath. Additionally, Mystral is the Goddess of Magic, and many of the Gods they knew do not exist (Mystra, Cyric, and Kelemvor, for example, since the Time of Troubles never happened. Mystral focuses on the chaotic nature of the weave, so only wizards dedicated to Mystral have great power. Lawful wizards and sorcerers are able to tap into the weave, but to a far lesser extent.
The Travelers also learn they were "killed" in a mission to assassinate Manshoon. They are convinced by the Academy to take the mission again, hoping that by cutting off the head of the snake, the snake will die. The Travelers go on to Saerloon in Sembia to try to locate local resistance.
