Neverwinter Knights - The Message in the Woods
From the notebook of Elrylith Rebriviel:
Kythorn 8-29, 1375: The students spend the next two weeks in studies and other personal endeavours. They are introduced to their new group members: Mouse, the rogue, and Numan, the cleric of Oghma. Their new assignment is to escort a druid named Shalindar into the Neverwinter woods to meet with the chief druid living there so he may deliver a message. Traveling through farmlands, both worked and abandoned, they encounter a band of maurading owlbears in the middle of the night. Darvin and Barnaby take some heavy damage, but the student prevail. They encounter a herd of Hybsil at the edge of the woods, but are let to enter peacefully. In the woods, a strange will-o-wisp creature starts pelting Darvin with single magic missiles, and playing hide and seek games with the students. Then he stops after a few minutes of harassment.

Kythorn 29 - Flamerule 28, 1375: The students encounter the creature again (later learning it is a Nyth) in the middle of the night. Chand gets an idea and tosses a blanket over Darvin. The Nyth leaves. Latter in the night four Assassin Vines attack the students as they sleep. It gets pretty hairy, but the students prevail. The next day they encounter a Dragonne, which apparently serves as a guard for the druid. He allows Shalindar to deliver his message and gives him one to return with. The return trip is pretty uneventful.
A couple weeks later, the students are sent on a search and rescue mission to Luskin. They arrive in Neverwinter's rival city, moving to the merchant district just outside the noble district, staying at the Golden Tiger Inn (modeled after inns found in Amn.) Darvin poses as the lord of the group, with the others posing as his servants.
