NOW SEEKING VOLUNTEERS!
We would like to ask for volunteers to help beautify Denair. The more people, the less work!
GOAL: Pick up trash and tires in the ditches near MAIN and SANTA FE on the weekends. The ditches by this area are full of trash and tires and are really ugly.
IT'S NOT TOO MUCH WORK! The Last time, it only took 1 hour, and our town looked that much nicer.
This is a VOLUNTEER GROUP organized by Denair residents: David Cole and Moon Trent.
I guess it does "take a village". Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
***ONGOING PROJECT***
In the future, we would like to somehow raise enough money to plant some new Palm trees in Denair along the Railroad track near the Amtak stop on Santa Fe and Main. The only one that is left is near the Lumbar Yard. Perhaps AmTrack will pitch in?
There used to be quite a few there, and we aren't called "The Oasis of the San Joaquin Valley" for nothing! I love the Palm trees that are in Denair. There just needs to be more! Perhaps all that read this, will add a Palm tree big or small to their own homes. I'd like to, too!
