About the Author....

My name is Michael Mastro, and I am a student at West Virginia University. I have developed this site for a summer class dealing with demography, its uses, and ways to utilize the internet to make it useful. I decided to design a website that would minimize a student's time in search of a particular topic when researching for a demography based project. My professor, Dr. Josh Kim, Ph.D., http://www.demographer.net has provided the necessary guidance to produce a well-rounded demography site. Contrary to what this site may imply, my major is biology, and I have a dear place in my heart for environmental issues. This would explain the ample dose of environmental and natural resource data and information found in this site. I am hoping to go to medical school next fall...medicine and interest in the human body is my number one interest, although some might say it is finance and the stock market, hence the economics section of this site!
