This year's 50 song challenge was founded on June 21, 2001 
which is my birthday....I thought this was cute! The fact being 
I am 39 and want to savor this year before I hit the big 40!  I have 
been writing song poems and lyrics more since my mom passed away 
in 1998...why? I don't really know except when I lost her, part 
of my being left too it seemed and then came all these feelings that 
I needed to release or go nuts so I had this extreme need to write 
to express love, passion, something that would make others 
happy...do something memorable in this life before my time comes too...
It has been so much fun writing in this group 
and looked forward everyday for messages etc...
I only write lyrics and was looking for someone who 
could/would put music to my words and then I received 
a response from a wonderful terrific inspiring ...person 
named John Close who agreed to do this 
wonderful terrific inspiring thing for me and quickly too, 
I might add! 

I can't express the awesome way he has been able to 
put melodies to the lyrics I've posted to him and 
how many of them have been just what I was humming 
to myself when I wrote them....I am forever indebted to his 
generousity and interest and I am looking forward to 
a great partnership for as long as it may last! 
I live in a small country town in northwestern Pennsylvania 
with my husband John and 6 year old daughter Liberty (Libby) 
and my favorite hobby besides doing family things is 
writing!
