Welcome to the Gate to Hell...Beware of the Hell Hounds!
Message from the Editor (03/09/01)
The clouds opened up and dumped a sh*t-ton of rain on us, but it was a great time...best of all, Birmingham got played like the Thunderb#tches they are!  I wasn't suprised that many people left the game early, or didn't show up at all, but it became apparent who the real "hardcore" fans are...

All the pictures from our tailgate for the Xtreme game are now posted on the
Pictures page.  Also, some of the pictures from the Outlaws game are up, and more to come...along with pictures from the Bolts game (assuming the pictures turned out with all the rain on the lens!!!).  Keep checking out the pictures page for more tailgating pictures, press photos, video and more.

The XFL is being called the Ex-FL, the USFL 2, and basically being dogged regularly by every major news publication.  It's getting old...I have a feeling that very few of the people writing these stories, ripping on the XFL with every breath, haven't been to a game in person.  I don't know what it's like at the other stadiums, but Pac Bell is off-the-hook!!!  We have had so much fun, and don't care a bit about what these silly reporters think.

Not only is it the press that is Anti-XFL, I'm even getting it from friends and family...some of the same people that I tailgate and party with during Oakland Raider and Nebraska Cornhusker games.  They way I look at it is this: it is football, we drink, we BBQ, we scream and shout, we have a good time...oh, but the ratings...I don't know about you, but I don't base my life around Neilson Ratings.

It was great to see everybody out at the tailgate last week, and I look forward to seeing you all out there this Sunday.  If the NY/NJ Sh*tmen have an offense anything like the Thunderb#tches, we're in for a real ass-whoopin'.  Thanks for visting the site, and keep tuning in!

Go Demons!

Who are the Hell Hounds?
The Hell Hounds are the guardians to the Gate to Hell...when an opposing team is in the North End Zone, they will fear for their lives.  The Hell Hounds are the fiercest warriors in the XFL, their berserk fury thought to be a gift from the gods.  Or a curse, if you  listen to their enemies.

Known as the most feared warriors in the league, some believe the Hell Hounds fierceness comes from their passion for life, while others whisper that they don't fear death because they have nothing to live fo
r.  When not in the very heart of battle, Hell Hounds can often be found at the local tavern, drinking or dancing away the spoils of victory.  Hell Hounds fight hard, play hard, drink hard, and most importantly...they die hard.

The Hell Hounds live by these tennants:
1) Thou shall not use tickets paid for to sit in, merely to hold thy beer while standing and screaming.
2) Thou shall only display the colors of the Demons, Red and Black.
3) Thou shall form a bond with all Demons, be they fans, coaches, players or cheerleaders.
4) Thou shall lose thy voice when the Demon Defense is on the field, but not whisper a breath when the Demon Offense is at work.
5) Thou shall prepare for the battle properly, wine and che
ese is not considered a tail-gate.
