De Laurent
When the foolish member of their Crucible attempts to use an artifact to lure Spectres to the area to show the other Crucibles that the Larazus Redux group can handle such threats, the attempt goes wrong and a swarm of Fetches, Frighteners and Reapers close in to take the projectors down. Though most groups escape with minimal loses, Terrence Green fears this may have ruined the possibility of uniting under one banner and being financed by the Federal government. As the groups make their escape, Tom Hayes and another Crucible member are left behind to be surrounded by the Reapers. To their luck, Tom Hayes discovers one of his new strange horrors permits him to hide them from the Reaper's senses and ignore them. Though never now present in the shared lives that the Crucible bear with one another, Tom Hayes seems to have been gifted with new powers that may help turn the tide of the battle.
Robert Channing Earlier, prior to the meeting, Bishop struck back. With the assistance of strange Spectres calling themselves the Goddesses, the Crucible is plunged into a nightmarish world where they are forced to find ways to circumvent the Spectre's god-like control over the world. When they succeed in rescuing Matthew Alcome, who served as their focal point in the assault, the Crucible leave Bishop a warning that they know his plans and will not hold back when the time comes to bring him down. Worried however that the infamous Uriah may be playing both sides, the Crucible learns they have to turn to Mr. Jigsaw once more for information to make sense of things. And thankfully, with the meeting Radio Free Death had established, the Crucible are starting to feel they have a better chance at making sense of things now.
