1998
How Connie came to be, the premise of her intro story, the first pictures of "The Con", and some of my old (sucky) artwork.
1999
Connie gets a little older, changes her wardrobe, becomes a good guy (so to speak), and is the center of her own "series". (Lots more old Connie art to look at)
2000
My abilities as an artist improve and I get the idea of using Connie in my Demmy's World strip.

Convict Connie, or "The Con" is probably my most well-loved character among fans (don't tell her that if you know what's good for you). She may not be in as many strips but she stands out in everybody's mind, perhaps because she is the only member of Sunnet Hills who is not sickeningly sweet or sappy, or perhaps because of her abrasive personality and flaming red hair. Whatever the reason I have to admit that "The Con" is probably my favorite character as well. Convict Connie was created in 1998 and was originally modeled loosely after myself in junior high and elementary school. Though I wasn't mean, I was very strong and got into a lot of fights (mostly because I was different , and because I didn't like putting up with being hit.) I also tended to use the character of Connie as an outlet. I would role play as her and use that as an excuse to take all my frustrations with the world out on the aldahi (the toons, imaginary friends, role-play NPC, what ever you'd like to call them) who couldn't really feel it. She later became a personification of all that I didn't like about myself before blossoming into what she is today. Perhaps because she carries a little piece of me she will always have a special place in my heart (although I wouldn't want to hug her).
