| Music has always been my first love. I studied piano from the time I was 5 years old until I was 13, when I started junior high school. I picked up a set of drumsticks when I was 17 and studied under an unsung drummer by the name of Mick. Drum lessons lasted until I was 19, when I first held a GTX electric guitar (owned by then-guitarist/singer for L.A. heavy band "Grissol", Jesse Commons). He showed me the ropes on his ART and Quadraverb and I have been an axe-man ever since. My influences include Built to Spill, Queens of the Stone Age, and Weezer. I am currently writing songs with Chad Huhn who is also multi-instrumentally gifted. I play the Jay Turser SG shown below. |
| Paintball has been a summer pastime of mine off and on since 1991 when I bought some of my first equipment. Back then I played with a bottom fed Auto-Mag that I picked up at Skirmish in Reseda, Ca. My friends were playing with Auto-Cockers and PMI semi's. All the fancy equipment went to the wayside though when I moved from L.A. to Seattle. In the last year I have collected a few nice markers such as my Kingman Spyder TL+ which I set up for snipers with a red dot scope, mini tank, and long barrel. I customized a Spyder Compact for assault, using a bottom-line kit and combat style laser beam scope. A Brass Eagle Avenger rounds out the collection of semi's with it's two-finger trigger and fast vertical ball-feed. |
