facade
dahling!
model worship must end
crazy paving
cruel
here are some designs i've done usin graphics progams on the computer...generally they're inspired by random thoughts/feelins...i create them on the spot, rather than go back and keep changin them - this would result in the original idea bein distorted by newer ideas, and eventually the original point of the picture would be lost...i prefer to keep the immediacy and to catch a specific thought, that lasted maybe a minute or two, and trap it in space and time.

'dahling!' was inspired by my frustration at not feelin able to socialise and 'mingle' wiv people, as people around me seem to do so easily. i developed the idea by bringin in the class struggle, and comparin my situation to that of an outcast at a rather posh dinner party.
'facade' is simply about a guy i know who is constantly lyin to me, and about bein able to see though him like a window ;-)
'model worship must end' exists due to my anger, exasperation and confusion concernin the skinny female models that are constantly pushed down our throats (which isn't difficult cos they're so bloody small) from adverts. i can't easily describe my exact feelins about it, all i can say is i don't understand it and can't relate to it. the picture basically describes the shallowness of the 'looks' industry...especially the fashion industry, and the ridiculous jesus-like status that certain models have reached, simply fer their appearance.
'crazy paving' is also inspired by a guy i know...i made the poem up on the spot in about five minutes, and then created a nice mellow picture fer it. i'm not absolutely sure what it means myself, it just fitted my feelins about the person at that moment in time. i have to say that i feel pictures, poems and songs are meant to belong to the reader/viewer/listener, and personal interpretation is as important as the piece itself. so interpret away! :-)
'cruel' is my cynical side comin out...i like the idea of this bein grafittied in massive letters on a wall somewhere, so instead of actually doin that (i will someday!) i created the effect. i think the sayin is actually 'goodbye' isn't it? sayin 'hello' instead implies the puttin-on of a brave face and grittin yer teeth, which is what my life is about a lot of the time ;-)
abstract purple
'abstract purple' started off as a random doodle, but i reckon it's worked really well as there's a good balance between the different shapes. the best things always happen by accident!
i love you
'i love you'...what else is there to say? it expresses a feelin of love and contentedness at a particular moment, and, as i always do, i tried to make everythin in the picture - the colours, the font, the shapes - fit that mood.
