ANNUAL DRAW & FUNDRAISING EVENTS
2003 Delvin G.A.A. Annual Draw
NOVEMBER '03: Almost 5,000 euro to be won

As is the norm in the run-up to Christmas, local clubs, organisations and institutions engage in some fundraising to aid in their day-to-day running over the coming year.
The most anticipated of these is Delvin GAAs massive Annual Draw, with almost EUR 5,000 in prizes to be won. The draw has been running for a number of years now, with great success, an always generates great interest and support in Delvin and surrounding areas.
The draw has been pencilled in for Saturday, December 6. And with that being the run-up to the Christmas shopping rush, prizewinners will have a lot of extra spending money for the holidays. So why not buy a ticket for EUR 20 in local businesses, or from Delvin club members. Tickets sellers have obtained their books, so if youre not in - you cant win!
First prize in the Annual Delvin GAA Draw is the princely sum of EUR 3,000, with a second prize of EUR 1,000. There are smaller prizes for third and fourth - two prizes of EUR 250, and four prizes of EUR 100 - eight chances to win!
It has been an extraordinary year for Delvins hurling and camogie stars on the field. Delvin now have an established Senior hurling and camogie side, and will be challenging for top honours next year. So why not support the club by buying a pink ticket for this years Annual Draw.
Club members, players etc. who havent already picked up book(s) of tickets to sell for Delvin GAAs Annual Draw are asked to do so as soon as possible. The draw takes place on Saturday, December 6, and tickets must be returned before then for inclusion. Results will be posted here soon, good luck!

Camogie club plan advertising calendar

Delvin Camogie Club are organising a GAA calendar, to be published in the near future, in which local businesses and organisations will be given the opportunity to advertise, at a cost of EUR 50 per ad square. This will be a great opportunity for local businesses as well as the club, as it is hoped that the calendar will be widely distributed. The calendar will also contain photos of Delvins camogie, handball, football and hurling teams and personalities. Your support would be appreciated. For more details, contact a member of the Camogie Club committee.
The Park, Mullingar Road, Delvin, benefits greatly from your contributions to fundraising events.
