| DID YOU SEE HER IN THE NEWS? |
| Marguerite, a member of the Dayton Alumnae Chapter was recognized by her alma mater for her outstanding efforts in community service. She was awarded the 2005 Diversity Award from the Penn State Alumni Association. She was featured in several local newspapers, and received a crystal Nittany Lion (Penn State's Mascot). Congratulation Marguerite, We think you are pretty special too! |

| Nikki H. a member of the Dayton Alumnae Chapter, and her husband Michael welcome to the world Oliver Joseph. He was born on January 6, and weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces, and was 20 inches long. He joins his beautiful sister Teagan. CONGRATS NIKKI & MIKE! WELCOME OLLIE!! |

| HOLIDAY W/ FRIENDS |
| In December we met at Figlio in Kettering to share dinner and some good times during the holiday season. It was nice to be able to join everyone during this busy time. Several members were in attendance, but it was expecially nice to see Sorority Big and Little Sisters together again. (See photo below Peg front left just moved back from Florida and Linda front right was her little sister in college). During this meeting everyone brought unwrapped toys that were donated to the YWCA. For more information click here. |

| SASHAY INTO SPRING WITH DZ! |
| The DAPA style show was again a success. Many women were in attendance to enjoy a style show provided by acorn. Nine tickets were sold to DZ members, who had a great time at the event, see above. Also, donations provided by DZ helped to raise money toward Panhellenic scholarships. Thanks to Holly M., Sandy, and Marguerite for donating the items for the silent auction. |

| In January we lost Elaine, a beloved member of our chapter. We will miss her dearly! Contributions have been made to the Delta Zeta Foundation in her memory. |
