Leadership Training |
|
|
Leadership training was held on July 7th. Traci Grannemann & Rose Schulte went for the training to judge the mock chapters at Leadership Convention. Shirley Scarbrough will be training Dawn Young and Rachel Shaffer so that they will be able to judge the mock chapters. This is going to become a requirement by Ann if you are going to judge the mock chapters for all further Leadership Conventions (even if you have done it in the past). |

Leadership Convention |

Leadership Convention was held at Warrensburg this year. In attendance for Delta of MO was Traci Grannemann, Rose Schulte, Rachel Shaffer, and Dawn Young. Traci, Rose, and Dawn helped in judging the mock chapter excercise at Leadership Convention. |

Chi Delta Officer Retreat |
|
|
This year, we held the officer retreat on July 27-29th at Pin Oak Creek RV Park. Kevin Dixon decided that Chi Delta did not need assistance to go the Leadership Convention so we used the Discover Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship that we normally give to them for the Leadership Convention to rent a double wide trailer due to health reasons and the heat.
The officer retreat was a great success this year! All 5 of Chi Delta's officers were able to attend - this is a first since we have been holding the retreat. This years officer team is made up of all new members who are eager to learn about the programs and to start the year. At the retreat we worked with them on the 5 star program, the service project, honors study topic, relay for life, voice your vote, writing the hallmarks, leadership skills, communication skills, and team building. We believe that the 5 of them make a great team and this will be a productive and fun year for the chapter. |
