Barb Johnson Phi Theta Kappa Continued Excellence Award |

|
This year the committee that judged the essays consisted of Traci Grannemann, Rose Schulte, Amy Pope, Jodi Schulte, and Allen Becker. As a team, we decided to give 2 scholarships this year. They went to Olga Zaharova and Ann Wideman. They will both receive $150 per semester from our scholarship fund. |

Sullivan Relay for Life |

|
On August 10th, Delta and Chi Delta members were asked again to do the Luminaries at Sullivan Relay for Life. There was 4 Delta members, 2 Chi Delta members, and 2 guests that participated. In total we did approximately 400 luminaries. This is down from the last 3 years (most likely due to the extreme heat). We all had a lot of fun and hope to have more members there next year to help. |

Name Badges for Chi Delta Officers |

|
On August 16th, at Chi Delta's Officer meeting, we gave each of their officers and Kevin name badges to use at each of their meetings and at events that they work on campus so that their members and other people on campus know and recognize them. |

Aided Chi Delta In Sending Out Letters |
|
|
On August 16th and again on August 22nd, Delta's Officer Team assisted Chi Delta in stuffing envelopes to send out letters to potential members. Because of server problems on East Central's campus, Kevin did not get the list of potential members until after the semester starts. Chi Delta sent letters to 119 students. |
