Flips
| Ollie |
(You need to be able to do an Ollie to do most of the new tricks )
To do an Ollie you must first stand on the board with your front foot
in the middle of the board and your back foot at the end on the tail.
Then when you are comfortable with that in one smooth motion you
crouch down then jump whilst pushing the tail down then as the front
of the skateboard lifts up you turn your front ankle sideways and
slide it up along the Grip tape then the skateboard is completely
off of the ground then you straighten out your feet and push down
smoothly
|
| Kickflip |
(You need to be able to do an ollie to do a Kickflip )
To do a kickflip you need to do an Ollie but instead of sliding your foot up
the board you slide your foot of the at the nearest corner to you this will
cause the board to flip around when it has successfully flipped around once
(when the grip tape appears again) you smoothly place your feet back on the board.
|
| Heelflip | |
The heelflip is the same as the kickflip but instead of sliding your foot to the corner nearest
to you kick it forwards to the corner furthest away from you.this is slightly harder to
begin
with so make sure you jump high enough or else the board will have no time to
spin. |
| 360 Flip | |
The 360 Flip is the hardest trick I wouldn't advise trying this unless you are experienced
at landing tricks to start off you have to spin the board 360 degrees with your back foot by
swooping it really quickly then as it starts to spin push you front foot off like a kickflip and
then
the board will be spinning a 360 to land wait for it so spin completely then when you see the grip
tape place your
feet down smoothly.
|
| Variel Kickflip | |
A variel kickflip is a 180 flip so what you do is you go for a pop shuvit (180) then as it spins around slide your foot off like
a kickflip then land your feet on the board after it had spun and place your
feet down smoothly.

Grinds
| 50-50 | |
to do a 50-50 you approach the bench or ledge with an appropriate speed and pop an Ollie
then when over the top of the obstacle push you feet down on to the bench or ledge then
slide along when ready to exit either lift the front and slide off or Ollie out.
|
| 5-0 | |
to do a 5-0 it is the same as a 50-50 but instead you balance on the back set of trucks
and the back tail and slid along to get out of this you can slide oof the edge like a manual.
|
| Nosegrind | |
A nose grind is exactly the same as a 5-0 but you slide along the front of the tail to get in to
it when
you Ollie push all your power on to your front foot the board then should start to slide
along.But this is a really
difficult trick to get out of but the way to do it is to quick and sharply push forwards this
will make
the board remove its self off of the ledge then straighten out your feet then land foreword
|
| BoardSlide | |
The boardslide is a really easy trick to learn what you do is you pop an Ollie.
When in the air turn your board 90 degrees and then slide the centre of the board along the rail.
To get out just turn the board 90 degrees at the end of the rail.
|
| *Darkslide* |
A darkslide is similar to a boardslide but you slide on the
bottom side of the board.
to cause the board to turn you do a half kickflip then when you see the bottom of the board
you place both feet on each tail then slide along. To exit this trick you need to force all of
your
power on to the tail that is hanging off of the ledge then push hard but jump lightly and the
board
should flip then you aim to land on the board.(Extramurally Hard)
