So, uh, Wednesday I cooked for Berenice�s family. It was really good. I cooked American tacos, or so I call them. They liked them. Berenice lived in Chicago for a while and said it brought back memories for her. I also took a German chocolate cake that I bought. It was okay- definitely not as good as the ones that I make (hehe). I don�t think they liked it as much, but it�s okay- I understand. Charles doesn�t like German chocolate cake and neither does my mother. It is because of the icing, I think. Plus, this store cake wasn�t like what I wanted, but that�s okay.
Also, before that we went to the movies. I saw High Crimes with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd. I really really liked it. It was suspensefull and the ending really suprised me. Okay- this is the thing. I just went to a site online, TV Guide Ratings for movies, and it said that the movie wasn�t all that great and that the ending was painfully obvious. That�s why I hate ratings. They�re always done by some super-dork who has nothing else to do but sit and watch movies and rate them all day and is super-harsh on every movie. I looked up a lot of other movies that I liked and they were given low ratings, too. That is so annoying. Maybe I just have bad taste. No- I don�t think so. My friends liked these movies too. I am not going to read anymore ratings because I never agree with them.
I took my last exam today and also found out that I made an 80 on my Phonetics test! That means I passed! Yaaaay!!! I probably will have a B in that class since the exam counts for so much and since my other exams were around B�s. I am soo glad! That was the class that was giving me a headache and that I was worried about. The others I know I passed and hopefully, haven�t made anything less that a B. I haven�t made a C in college yet, and it would be cool to keep that record. Tecnically, it doesn�t matter either way, since my grades don�t transfer- only the credit.
So, now all I have to do is sit back and relax, pick up some souveneirs, and do what I want until Wednesday! It is such a good feeling to be done with a semester and classes. And THANK GOD I only have one more semester to experience that feeling!
