| Those two faces are exactly how I feel right now. But they are good faces! Okay- first of all, I am so excited about Chelsey getting here this Sunday. She is supposed to arrive sometime Sunday evening, but I dont know the exact times, yet. Get with it, Chelsey! Hehe. Kidding. My friend from here, Berenice, wants to come with me to the airport. I told her that was fine with me and really have no problems with it. I actually dont really understand why she wants to come. The tickets for there and back are the equivalent of 8 dollars a piece. I know I wouldnt pay $16 just to ride a bus to an airport and back, but anyway...I kind of mentioned that to her and she said it was fine- she wants to come. So, I was like, "Fine with me!" This is actually good because she is originally from Mexico City and will be able to help me find my way around the bus station and airport and all. I am in an extremely good mood right now, just becuase I am looking forward to this weekend. First of all, Charles is calling tonight. That is always exciting. Second of all, tomorrow, my friend Becky and I are going to Coatetelco to have fish and to work on our Phonetics work. We have a couple of projects due for that class and also our test coming up on Tuesday. I really need to do good on this test. I know I can do the stuff and the teacher does, too, even though sometimes the way the questions are frased cause me to completely not know whats going on. However, I am hoping that the difference between this test and the last will be the fact that last time, I really had no clue about the material, and this time I do. Anyhow, Coatetelco is a really nice, relaxing environment by the lake, with my fried fish and sopes (a Mexican dish- basically like a bread with cheese and sour cream on top of it), and peace and quiet. Amazingly, sometimes peace and quiet is hard to find around here. Mainly at my school. See, my college here is also a prepartory and and secondary, which means high school and I think, middle school students go here, too. Let me just say that if I ever acted like these middle schoolers, somebody slap me. They are so loud and obnoxious and silly. It is so annoying, especially in the computer lab and library. Needless to say, when I study or am writing a paper, I do it at home. Speaking of writing papers, I am proud to say that I finished my literature paper and feel so happy about it! I turned it in today! Yaaay! Now I have the test to finish, and I think it wil be easy. Also, I am excited because Becky and I are trying to plan a suprise birthday party for a friend of ours, Raul. We need to have it on Sunday evening, because there is no other possible time this week. I had wanted to do it while Chelsey is here because we are trying to do it on top of our friend, Daniels roof, with the gorgous view of Cuernavaca. We were wanting to try to grill out and have a piata and balloons and everything. It can also be kind of a welcome party for Chelsey. So, I have to get up with Daniel and see if we can use his roof and I need to call Rauls brother, Chris, to make sure Rauls not doing anything on Sunday. He had better not be! Becky and I really want to have this party! Hehe. I also need to get my hands on a grill. So, needless to say, I am completely excited about this weekend. Funny, usually when this happens, things end up not going as planned and being a disappointment. Well, well see what happens! Bye! |
