Okay. This is what's going on. I leave on Friday and I still have a lot to pack. That's no problem, really. That can be handled. I have plenty of space. I guess it's all the other things that I have to do that are getting me. The biggest thing at the moment is that I want, well, I need to get my hair permed before I go. I have waited to the last minute to call the girl that does it, and now it isn't looking like they are open today. It is only around 8 though, so maybe everyone is sleeping late.
Even worse, there is supposed to be a big snow storm starting tomorrow. So, now, instead of getting my hair done tomorrow when I had planned, I have to try to do it today, or I'll never get there. I get my hair done back where I go to college, which is about 1 and 1/2 hours away. I was also planning on dropping off some materials, etc., to my college and picking up and dropping off some applications and things while I was in Greensboro. Now, I have to try to rush and finish them, since I want to go today, and it is possible that I may just have to mail them since the school may not be open.
The worst part of this is the fact that there is going to be a snow storm starting tonight, going all through tomorrow, and stopping on Friday mornign when I leave. The irony of it is that it never snows around here! It's even supposed to snow at the beach, where Charles lives. This is ridiculous! Why does there have to be a snow storm on the very days I'm going to the airport???!!!! The problem also, is that since it rarely snows, when it does, it is hard to clean the roads because most people aren't really prepared for that type of weather and the machines for cleaning and putting down salt and sand are few and far in between. Not so much in Raliegh, though, as in here at my little town. The airport is about an hour away, so, I am worried about us getting there, and even more worried about my family getting back safe and all.
Well, no need to be preoccupied about it right now, I guess. It is not snowing today, so I am going to try to get as much as I can done today so that if it snows tomorrow, I can at least stay in the house, look at it, and halfway enjoy it.
Hey, the good news is, Charles is here and we are having a great time! He got here yesterday, and we've just been doing various things. We watched Shrek last night, and we played table tennis and stuff.
Okay. Gotta go- I have a dentist's appointment in a few minutes!
