So, now I�m just surfing the web and wasting time. I don�t have too much else to do since I left all my work at home. I think I will leave soon to go the Centro and get something to eat. At 5:30 I will meet Becky at McDonalds to do our work and from there we are walking to church. We�re always late to church, but for good reasons. The first 20-30 minutes of church is just prayer and I�m sorry, I think it is a tad bit unneccesary. Everyone is standing and praying aloud and I just get impatient. So, we usually just arrive 20 minutes late, which gives us time to find a seat, get settled, pray a bit, and then the music starts. It is like a Christian Rock concert for 20 minutes. The music is really good and the speaker is usually good, too. Afterwards, we usually go to the movies, but I don�t think I�m going tonight. Berenice and Salatiel�s family offered to take me to a seafood reastaurant last week and we said we�d do it on Wednesday after church. I hope they remember because I really have a taste for some seafood!
We are also planning a trip to DF(Mexico City) on Saturday, May 11. That is where they (Salatiel�s family) is from and they know the area really well. They want to take me around, which is great, because going to Mexico City alone is never a good idea. We are going to try to eat at this revolving restaurant that is supposed to be really nice and also are planning on seeing El Lago de los Cisnes (Swan Lake). It will be there that weekend and they called me last night to see if I could bring the money for the tickets to church tonight. I am excited, but wish the tickets were a bit cheaper. They are 195 pesos, which is about 21 USD. But that�s okay- I am just happy they are willing to pay to go see it with me. I know they don�t have a lot of money.
So, that�s my update. Oh- I see I have some space. I guess I should mention my little budget. I am trying to set up a budget for the last 5 weeks that I am here, so that I don�t run out of money, which I nearly thought I was going to do. My Dad gave me $500, which I soooo much appreciate. I have to pay my school bill, and when I do, I will have about $270 left for the last 5 weeks. Tight, I know! But, I�ve done almost everything I wanted to do, and all that is left is cheap, so if I stick to the budget, I�m fine. Now that I�m worried about!
