Geneva St., Delavan, unless otherwise specified. Special Events April 4th May 17th, Saturdays and Sundays, 1:00pm, the DHS will host a tour of the Allyn Mansion at 511 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan. $5.00 Donation for tour to benefit the DHS. Saturday, May 9th, The DHS will host a program on “The National Register of Historic Places: The Process, Advantages, and Common Misconceptions” at the Community Bank, Community Centre, 826 E. Geneva St., Delavan, 10:00am Noon. No admission charge. Saturday, May 16th, The Delavan Historical Society will be hosting two short movies at The River (Formerly the Delavan Theater), 405, E. Walworth Ave, Delavan. The first movie is called “Delavan Lake: A Diamond in the Rough”, a retrospective on the draw down and rehabilitation of Delavan Lake produced in 1990, and the second feature is the “Faces of Delavan in the 1940’s”, a film made by Life Magazine of Delavan residents in the 1940’s originally shown at the Delavan theater..
