De'Kaf, Line Leader of the Honorable House of K'Tylo.
Many years ago, Da'char'les Of House K'Tylo agreed to supply Lursa, of the House Duras, with food and weapons, but would not openly support her in her war to control the High Council. In a fit of rage, Lursa tried to kill Da'char'les, but Da'char'les proved to be the stronger of the two. This aroused and excited Lursa, so, instead of killing each other, they had sex. De'Kaf was the result of that mating.
De'Kaf took over as Leader of the House when Da'char'les was killed by an assasin. It was then that De'Kaf learned of his mothers side of the family.
Before the Domion War, De'Kaf decided to help the Maquis in their fight against the Cardassian Union and the Federation. In the Mean time Martok contacted De'Kaf and asked him continue the family tradition of doing "Black Ops" for the Empire. De'Kaf agreed and so some members of the House are intergrated in to Starfleet and other places.
De'Kaf along with Dragose found what appeared to be a large Starfleet Courageous class Shuttlecarrier. After hailing the ship and getting no answer, De'Kaf tried some codes he had gotten from a source in Starfleet. The ship opened up to him and he found that the crew had just disapeared.
