Chapter 86: The Lunch Plans
The next morning everyone got ready and they went outside and meet up.
�Hey guys,� Jr said.
�Did anyone tell Kevin about this meeting?� Ashley wondered.
�I forgot all about letting Kevin know about this,� replied Jr. �I will call him on my cell.� So Jr calls Kevin on his cell. Kevin answered it. �Hey Kevin. We forgot to tell you that were having a meeting outside the motor coach lot this morning.�
�Ok,� Kevin said. �Just give me 15 minutes since you woke me up ok?�
�Ok,� Jr said. �Sorry I woke you up.�
�Its ok,� Kevin said.
�See ya in 15 minutes then,� Jr said. �Bye!�
�Bye!� Kevin said.
So Jr hangs up and tells everyone what Kevin said. They waited 15 minutes for Kevin to show up. When 15 minutes were up Kevin showed up with Dalandra.
�Hey,� Kevin and Dalandra said.
Everyone said hey to Kevin and Dalandra so then they started their discussion.
Jr started off by saying, �I�d like to mention we decided to get together to discuss the fact of maybe Jimmie and Jeff are setting us up. Last night we thought of the walkie talkie idea where someone carries one in their pocket that�s turned on while one of the most trustful crew chiefs in the garage carries one also incase this is true. Is that what were doing?�
�Yes,� Robby answered.
�Then who�s going to carry the walkie talkie out of the people between us?� Martin wondered.
�I don�t know,� Robby answered. �Do you have any ideas?�
�Nope,� replied Martin. �And I can�t come cause I have the Busch race. Sorry guys!�
�Me either because I am in the Busch race too,� Mikey added.
�Add me to the list,� Kevin then said. �Looks like its just Jr since Robby is in the Busch race. Hmmm Jr�maybe Ashley should go with you just incase.�
�Kevin I can�t go since I need to do my job over at Fox,� Ashley told Kevin. �Amanda can help you and also Dalandra but I think that they will be up on the crew chief stand helping them out.�
Dalandra, Amanda and Nicole said they already agreed to do that.
�Is there anyway Ash that you can get out of it?� Jr begged. �Like tell them something important has come up?�
�Sorry Jr but I need to do this or I will be fired,� Ashley told him.
�Wait there was a truck race yesterday,� Martin started. �Is Shane and Parker still here? And also maybe Kevin�s driver Crafton? If so maybe they could tag along.�
�Matt is still here,� Kevin told Martin. �He is going to stay here for the weekend and then come back with me so he can help us. But I don�t know about Shane and Parker Jr.�
�Wait let me go find Steve and let me ask him if Shane has left,� Jr told them. �And then maybe someone could try calling Parker.�
�Ok,� Robby accepted. �I will call Parker.�
So Jr runs off to find Steve well Robby calls Parker. Jr finds Steve and asked him if Shane had left.
�No,� Steve told him. �He�s right over there joking around with Shawn.�
�Thanks Steve,� Jr thanked Steve. Then Jr ran over to where Shane was sitting and joking around with Shawn.
�Hey Jr!� Shane said. �Wanna join the party?�
�Hey Sawn and Shane,� Jr says. �No thanks but I need your help.� So Jr tells them what is going on and they agree to help out. �Lets head to where the rest of us are.� Then Jr brings Shawn and Shane where the other guys were.
�Hey Shane,� Robby said. �Umm who is this guy? Not meaning to be rude. Ne wayz Park left after the race.�
�That is Shawn,� Jr told Robby. �Oh ok. But Shane and Shawn will help us.�
�Do you guys want me to go see if Matt will join ya or are you guys ok now?� Kevin offered.
�Sure,� Jr accepts.
So Kevin goes and sees Matt. Kevin then found Matt and says, �Hey Matt. Would you like to help Jr out for a little bit while I am in the Busch race today?�
�Sure,� Matt accepted.
�Ok,� Kevin said. �Lets go and meet up with Jr.�
So Kevin and Matt go to where Jr is with the rest of them. They then show up where everyone else is.
�So the list of people meeting with them is Jr, Shane, Shawn and now add Matt to the list.� Kevin told everyone.
�Ok,� Jr said.
�Well its time for practice #1 of 2 so lets split and practice for the cup guys at least,� Kevin suggested.
�Ok,� Jr accepted. �I will be back in about 45 minutes or sooner and will let you guys know what is going on.�
So then they head to their garage stalls.
