Chapter 71: The Romantic Dinners
“How’s it coming Tony?” Jr asked.
“Its coming ok,” Tony Jr answered. “BONO found some paint over at Mikey’s trailer and they are finishing up your car.”
“Ok that’s good,” Jr comments.
“Yes,” Tony Jr agreed.
“You seen Martin?” Jr asked.
“I haven’t seen him lately,” Tony Jr answered. “He might be in his trailer.”
“Ok I’m gonna go see if he is,” Jr said.
“Ok,” Tony Jr said.
So Jr went to Martin’s trailer to see if he was there. When Jr got to Martin’s trailer Jr knocked on the door and Martin let him in.
“Hey,” Jr said.
“Hi Jr,” Martin said.
“How are you feeling?” Jr asked.
“Ok,” Martin answered. “And you Jr?”
“Ok,” Jr said.
“Well I am going to take a little nap because I am going to take Nicole out for dinner tonight,” Martin told Jr.
“Ok that’s fair,” Jr said. “Hmmm that’s a idea for me to think about because I told Ashley that I wanted to spend some alone time with her tonight and we haven’t decided what to do.”
“Oh that’s nice,” Martin commented.
“Well I better go so you can have your nap,” Jr said.
“Ok,” Martin said. “Talk to you soon. Bye Jr!”
“See ya,” Jr left. Jr went back to his trailer to think what he wanted to do with Ashley that night. He finally made up his mind and went to finis his sister and step-mom for a little help with his little plan. When Jr found his sister and step-mom he told them what he was planning for Ashley that night and asked them to help out. They said they’d love to.
“Ok I got a idea on that and like when is this plan going to start and how do I have to distract her for?” Kelley asked.
“You can start distracting her now and do it for 3 hours,” Jr answered. “Just go to the mall with her and just have fun.”
“Oh we will have fun,” Kelley assured Jr. “We’ll have tons of girl fun.”
“Ok,” Jr said.
So Kelley went to find Ashley well Jr and Teresa went back to the motor coach. Kelley found Ashley and told her that Jr was doing something so the two of them were to go to the mall for a few hours.
“Alrighty then,” Ashley said.
Then Ashley and Kelley went to the mall.
“What’s your favourite store?” Kelley asked.
“Any store in the mall but we need to go see the little puppies in the pet store,” Ashley answered.
“How about we got there first?” Kelley suggested.
“Ok,” Ashley accepted.
So they walked down to the pet store. When they got to the pet store they saw puppies and kittens.
“Oh my gosh their so cute,” Ashley commented.
“Yes they are so cute,” Kelley agreed.
“I’ve always loved little puppies,” Ashley started. “Especially little chow chows.”
“Yes I really like all the kittens,” Kelley told Ashley. “They are so cute.”
“Hey you know Jr more then I do,” Ashley started. “Does he like puppies/dogs?”
“He loves dogs,” Kelley answered.
“Ok hmm…oh my gosh I mean their so cute,” Ashley said again. “I so want one.”
“You should wait until after you ask Jr,” Kelley suggested.
“Right,” Ashley agreed.
“Lets go somewhere else,” Kelley said trying to get off the pet subject. “Where do you want to go next?”
“I dunno,” Ashley answered.
“What about Old Navy?” Kelley suggested.
“Ok,” replied Ashley.
They then went to Old Navy to look around for a little bit and then they headed to JC Pennys.
“This is one place I’ve never been before Kel,” Ashley told Kelley.
“Oh you will like it Ashley,” Kelley assured her.
“Ok I’m going to trust you on this now,” Ashley said.
“Ok,” Kelley said.
So then they showed up at JC Pennys. They went inside to the ladies clothes and Ashley saw a lovely evening dress. Ashley was thinking about getting the dress but she wanted to look around some more.
“Lets pick like the most loveliest dress just for you,” Kelley suggested.
“Ok Kelley,” Ashley accepted.
“Now that first one we saw would look great on you but I gotta tell yeah I see another excellent one,” Kelley started.
“Ok,” Ashley said.
So they went and looked at the other dress Kelley saw. Then Ashley tried them all one by one.
“What one do you most like?” Kelley asked after Ashley was done trying them on.
“I really like the 3rd dress that I tried on,” Ashley answered. “What about you Kelley? What dress do you like on me?”
“I gotta agree with the 3rd dress also yet the first was pretty nice too,” Kelley told her.
“Yes,” Ashley agreed. “I think that I should wear this one tonight don’t you think?”
“Totally,” Kelley agreed. “And maybe a little make-up will make you the beauty queen.”
“Ok but what about my hair?” Ashley wondered.
“We can fix that up to,” Kelley assured her. “Well lets buy this dress and then we will go and get you all fixed up.”
“Ok,” Ashley said.
So they paid for the dress and left JC Pennys. Then they headed back to Mikey’s trailer to get ready for the night.
“Amanda can you help me get Ashley all pretty for tonight?” Kelley requested.
“Sure Kelley,” Amanda accepted.
So Ashley went and got the dress on since that was the first thing they decided to do. Well she was doing that Kelley was telling Amanda the plan that Jr and Teresa came up with.
“Hey Ash what do you think Jr is going to do with you tonight?” Amanda asked as Ashley finished getting the dress on.
“I dunno,” Ashley said as she came out of the bathroom.
“Oh ok,” Amanda said. “What do you want done with your hair?”
“I dunno,” Ashley answered. “I mean I really don’t like the way it looks now.”
Then Amanda hands over the mirror to Ashley. And then she looks into the mirror.
“So what do you think would look good on me with this dress?” Ashley asked Amanda.
“What about some curls in your hair?” Amanda suggested.
“Now that would look great,” Kelley commented.
“Yes and I was also thinking of putting her hair halfway back and then curling it,” Amanda added.
“Now that sounds good,” Ashley commented.
“Ok lets do it,” Amanda said. So Amanda started doing Ashley’s hair.
While Amanda was doing Ashley’s hair Kelley cell phone rung. “Hello,” Kelley answered her cell.
“Hey Kelley,” Jr said. “Its me Jr. You can bring over Ashley now. We are ready.”
“Well let me see with Amanda if were ready,” Kelley said. When Kelley went into the other room Amanda was almost done with Ashley’s hair. Then Kelley let Jr know that Ashley will be there in about 10 minutes.
“That’s fine,” Jr said.
“Ok,” Kelley said. “I better go; talk to you later. Bye Junebug.”
“Bye sis,” Jr said.
“Who was on the phone with you Kelley?” Ashley asked.
“Lets just say that the future will tell who,” Kelley answered.
“Ok,” Ashley said. So in 10 minutes Amanda was done her hair and they were heading over to Jr.’s motor coach. “I can’t wait to see Jr when he looks at me.”
“Alrighty.” Kelley said. “Good luck and have fun. But I mean you might want to go and see him.
“Ok,” Ashley said. So Ashley listened to Kelley and went inside to see him. When she got to the trailer she was so amazed on what Jr did.
Jr peaked out and said, “Hi sweetie.”
“Hi Jr,” Ashley said.
“Hope you like it,” Jr said as he gave her a kiss.
“I love it Jr,” Ashley told him.
“Glad and you look so pretty in that dress,” Jr commented.
“Thanks Jr,” Ashley thanked him.
“Your welcome,” replied Jr. Then Jr pulled Ashley’s chair out for her.
“So what’s on the menu tonight sweetheart?” Ashley asked as she sat down.
“Well we will have some spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread,” Jr answered.
“Now I can agree on that,” Ashley agreed with the choice.
“Ok,” Jr said.
Meanwhile at Mikey’s trailer Mikey just showed up and saw that Amanda was just sitting there waiting for him.
“Hi Amanda,” Mikey said as he entered the motor coach.
“Hey Mikey,” Amanda said.
“Wanna go out for dinner?” Mikey asked.
“Sure,” Amanda answered.
“Ok you go get dressed well I wait here,” Mikey said.
Amanda then went to get dressed.
While Mikey was waiting he got a call from Robby. “Yes Robby,” Mikey said when he answered the phone.
“Want to hang out with me tonight?” Robby asked.
“Sorry but I already made a deal with Amanda,” Mikey answered.
“That’s ok bye Mikey,” Robby said.
“Bye Robby,” Mikey said. Then Amanda came out. “You look pretty.”
“Thanks,” Amanda thanked him.
“Your welcome,” replied Mikey.
“So where are you taking me?” Amanda asked.
“Well I was thinking of a fancy restaurant,” Mikey answered.
“Ok,” Amanda said. So then Mikey and Amanda headed out for dinner.
Back over at Jr.’s motor coach Jr and Ashley were eating supper.
“How do you like it?” Jr asked.
“Its really good,” Ashley answered. “Thanks.”
“Your welcome Ash,” replied Jr.
Then Jeff Gordon came and knocked on the motor coach door and said, “Jr I need to talk to you. This is important and I swear I am not going to do anything wrong. I just want to warn you of my dear hateful partner and his bad idea.”
Jr went and opened the door and asked, “Can you wait until tomorrow since I am having supper with Ashley?”
“Its about the Busch race tomorrow,” Jeff told him.
“Ok,” Jr said. So Jr went outside to talk to Jeff. “So what is going to happen tomorrow with someone’s plan?”
“This is Jimmie’s plan,” Jeff started. “His is planning on running Kyle’s ride. Well his idea is he wants to stop you and your sweet teammates from winning the 500 so he is thinking of a little devil idea.”
“Ok whatever Jeff,” Jr said ignoring what Jeff said. He then started to head inside.
“Jr I know your not going to trust me after the other but this time I want you to know because I don’t want anything to happen to you guys tomorrow,” Jeff pleaded. “I mean I have caused enough shit and I am going to try to make it up to you. And Jimmie won’t stop and I told him not to follow up his idea and he said ‘so what your on their side now’. And I was like ‘well I just don’t wanna get in anymore shit ya know and he didn’t listen.”
“Ok,” Jr said. He then turned around and looked at Jeff.
“So I mean I’m going to ask Rick to talk to Jimmie about this and probably not accept Jimmie driving for Kyle but Jimmie may have got to Kyle,” Jeff continued. “So I am going to try to stop this but I mean I dunno if I can because Jimmie knows some good sneaky things.”
“Ok,” Jr said.
“So I’ll talk to you later ok?” Jeff asked. “Bye!”
“Ok bye!” Jr said. So Jr went back inside.
“Who was that?” Ashley asked.
“Jeff,” Jr answered. “He wanted to tell me about some plan that Jimmie has.”
“Ok,” Ashley said.
“I mean I don’t know if I want to believe him or not but lets put that out of the picture right now and just concentrate on having a good night together,” Jr said trying to change the topic.
“Ok Jr,” Ashley said.
So they finished up their supper.
“You did good on dinner,” Ashley complemented him. “What is for dessert Jr?”
“Well see I didn’t get this idea planned out on the dessert,” Jr told her. “But if you want I could prepare a banana split for yeah?”
“Ok,” Ashley accepted.
So Jr prepared the banana splits.
“Would you like any help?” Ashley offered.
“Sure,” Jr accepted.
Ashley said ok and then went by Jr and helped him make the banana splits. They finished making the banana splits and then sat down and started to eat them.
“Do you want to walk around the beach after we eat the banana splits?” Jr asked.
“Sure,” Ashley answered.
“Ok,” Jr said.
So when they were done their banana splits they went to the beach and watched the sunset.
“Isn’t it so beautiful to watch it from the beach?” Ashley asked Jr. “This is one view that I will keep in my heart forever.”
“Yes,” Jr agreed.
“Have you ever got to watch a sunset this beautiful on the beach before?” Ashley wondered.
“Not really,” Jr answered. “This is my first time too Ashley.”
“Well its great that we get to experience are first times together,” Ashley commented.
“Yes it is Ashley,” Jr said.
They talked for awhile longer and then when it got real late they went back to the motor coach and headed to bed.
