Chapter 53: The rest of Busch Series Qulifying
When they got to Mikey�s motor coach, they sat and talked for awhile before Kevin had to qulify first.
�I have to go and qulify now�but I will be back after I qulify,� Kevin told them.
�Ok Kevin,� Mikey said. �Anyways I�m like 5 cars after you.�
�Ok,� Kevin said. Kevin then left to qulify.
�I am going to go and wait for my turn to qulify�see you guys later,� Mikey said. �Bye!�
�Bye!� Jr said. �I gotta go soon also. Harvick�s like #1�your #6 and I�m like the 23rd car out.�
�Yep�lets go!� Mikey yelled.
�I�ll stay here till after the 15th car,� Jr told Mikey.
�Ok,� Mikey said.
�See ya Mikey!� Robby called.
Then Mikey left the trailer.
�Well its me and Robby wit the girls,� Jr said. �What a combination.�
�Yep,� Robby agreed.
�Well I know there is one girl you are most loyal too,� Ashley commented.
�Yes and its you Ashley,� Jr said.
�Oooo now no kissy kissy kissy cause that will make kiss one of the girls but make no mistakes I like girls,� Robby told them.
�Ok,� Jr said. �Why don�t you have a girlfriend Robby?�
�Haven�t found the right girl,� Robby answered.
�Oh,� Jr said surprised.
�Jr I know a good girl,� Ashley started. �I mean she likes Martin but maybe she�ll go for Robby and she is pretty cool Robby.�
�Ok,� Robby said. �What is her name? I would like to meet her.�
�Nicole,� Ashley told Robby. �She is pretty nice.�
�Ok,� Robby said. �Is she coming to Daytona or what?�
�I could call her and see,� Ashley answered.
�Ok,� Robby said.
Ashley dialed Nicole�s phone number.
Nicole answered the phone. �Hi,� she said when she answered the phone. �This is Nicole.�
Ashley then said, �Hi Nicole.�
�Hey Ashley,� Nicole greeted her. �Where are you? I�ve called your house like 10 times this week.�
�I am down at Daytona,� Ashley told her.
�You are lucky,� Nicole said. �Now who are you down there with?�
�I am down here with Amanda, my boyfriend Jr, Mikey, Kevin, Robby, Steve and more,� Ashley answered.
�You are Dale Jr.�s girlfriend?� Nicole double checked. �You gotta be kidding me. Is Martin down there and does Mikey have a girlfriend?�
�I am not kidding you�I am really Dale Jr.�s girlfriend,� Ashley told her again. �Mikey does have a girlfriend and Martin is down here.�
�You are one lucky girl,� Nicole repeated herself. �Who is with Mikey? Nice and sweet. I love that. Ok so why�d you call me finally when your having fun with Jr?�
�Amanda is Mikey�s girlfriend,� Ashley told Nicole. �Someone wants to talk to you.�
�Cool for Amanda,� Nicole commented. �Who wants to talk to me?�
�Robby wants to talk with you,� Ashley answered.
�Oh how have you gotten to like Robby?� Nicole questioned.
�Robby is Jr.�s friend and he just wants to talk with you,� Ashley explained.
�And how did those two start being friends?� Nicole wondered.
�Just that they know each other very well,� Ashley answered.
Taylor then said, �Nicole it�s a long story. We will tell you when you get here.�
�Ok,� Nicole said.
�When will she be here?� Jr asked.
�I will ask her right now,� Ashley answered. Then she asked Nicole when she will be coming down to Daytona.
�I�ll be there in like 3hrs if I leave right now,� Nicole told her.
�Ok I will let you go,� Ashley said. �See you when you get here. Bye!�
�Bye!� Nicole said.
Then Ashley let Robby know that Nicole will be here in a few hours.
�Oooo Robby is getting a girlfriend,� Jr kidded. �Ok how many cars have qualified and where are Kevin and Mikey in the starting grid so far if they have qualified yet?�
�20 drivers already qualified,� Robby answered.
�I gotta go,� Jr said. �I�m #23!�
�Ok,� Ashley said. �Bye sweetie!�
Jr ran out as Amanda checked the qualifying list to see where Mikey and Kevin were. Amanda saw the standings right now and saw that Kevin was in 1st and Mikey was in 2nd.�
�Kevin and then Mikey,� Amanda told them. �First and second.�
�Ok,� Ashley said.
�That might change after Jr qualifies,� Teresa reminded them. �Now when is Martin going to qulify and if he has qualified, where is he in the standings?�
�He didn�t qulify yet,� Amanda told her.
�Teresa this may sound weird but he goes out 24th,� Ashley reported.
�Ok,� Teresa said.
�That is weird Ashley,� Dalandra commented. �One right after the other.
�Yep,� Ashley said.
�Jr is on the track,� Teresa told them.
Everyone then watched. Dalandra was hoping he wouldn�t beat Harvick well Amanda didn�t want him to beat Mikey.
�Jr got 2nd,� Teresa told them.
�So its goes Harvick, Jr and then Mikey,� Dalandra read the starting grid off. �Martin�s on the track.�
�Yep,� Teresa said.
Everyone watched again. Dalandra was hoping for Harvick to stay on the pole well Ashley & Amanda were hoping Martin didn�t beat their driver.
�Martin got 10th,� Teresa reported.
�Yes,� Dalandra said. �Yes! We did it. Top 10 is as follows: Kevin, Jr, Mikey, Scott Riggs, David Green, Brian Vickers, Bobby Hamilton Jr, Ron Hornaday Jr, Shane Hmiel and then Martin.�
�Yep,� Teresa said.
�GO KEVIN!� Dalandra yelled.
�I am going to lay down for awhile since I still don�t feel that well,� Amanda told them all.
�Ok,� Ashley said. �Hope ya feel better.�
�Thanks,� Amanda thanked her. �Let Mikey know that I am laying down in his room.�
�Fine with me,� Ashley assured her. �And Amanda, its you and Mikey�s room.�
�Yep,� Amanda agreed. �Well see you guys later.�
�Bye,� Everyone said.
Then Amanda went to her and Mikey�s room and laid down.
�Alright lets hope we sweep the top 3 spots,� Ashley hoped.
�Ok,� Teresa said.
�Who�s left to qulify?� Dalandra asked.
�Looks like it just Stacy & Jason Keller left,� Ashley told Dalandra.
�Stacy isn�t too good but Jason was in practice,� Teresa reported.
�Yep,� Ashley agreed.
�I say Jason 11th and Stacy�uh�20th,� Teresa guessed.
�Same here Teresa,� Dalandra agreed.
�You girls stick together on that idea,� Kelley said rolling her eyes.
�Ok,� Teresa and Dalandra said. �Thanks.�
�Anytime I guess,� Kelley said.
Then they checked the standings and Kevin got the pole.
�Yes!� Dalandra almost yelled yet quieted down. �We did it. Top 10 as follows: Kevin, Jr, Mikey, Scott Riggs, David Green, Brian Vickers, Bobby Hamilton Jr, Ron Hornaday Jr, Shane Hmiel and then Martin.�
�Ok,� Ashley said.
�Well both C2 cars are in the top 10,� Teresa commented. �Robby its time for cup practice. Just thought I�d let ya know.�
�Ok,� Robby said. �Thanks for letting me know Teresa. Talk with you guys later. Bye all!� Robby left and it was just Ashley, Taylor, Teresa, Dalandra, Brianna, Kelley and Brenda left sitting there looking at each other.
�Can I go back to the trailer and listen to some music and work on some stuff mom?� Taylor asked.
�Of course Taylor,� Teresa answered.
�Ok,� Taylor said. �Thanks mom.�
�Your welcome,� replied Teresa.
�See you guys later,� Taylor said. �Bye!�
�Bye!� Teresa said. �If anything goes wrong, let me know right away. Even call me on my cell. I don�t care how you contact me just let me know if something is wrong.�
�Ok mom,� Taylor said. She then left.
