Chapter 54: Cup Practice
�I am going to watch Jr while he practices,� Teresa told everyone as she started to leave.
�Wait for us,� everybody said.
�Ok,� Teresa said.
Everybody catched up to Teresa and they all started walking to the garage together.
�How long have you know Jr Ashley?� Brianna asked.
�Since the beginning of February,� Ashley answered. �Why?�
�I just was wondering,� replied Brianna.
�Are you jealous Brianna?� Kelley kidded.
�No I am not Kelley,� Brianna told her.
�Ok,� Kelley said. �Ashley what is one big thing that you like about my brother?�
�That he is nice and kind,� Ashley answered. �He is also cute. I mean I really like that he is honest and he�s not afraid to say his opinion I guess. I mean, that is what I have off the top of my head Kelley.�
�Ok,� Kelley said. �I just was wondering about why you like my brother.�
�Well are we splitting so we can all go see are boys or what?� Teresa asked changing the topic.
�Ok,� everyone answered. Dalandra went over to Kevin well the rest went over to see Jr.
Back at Mikey�s trailer Amanda woke up from her nap and wondered where everyone went. Amanda called Ashley to ask her where they all were. Amanda called Ashley�s cell and Ashley picked up.
�Hey,� Ashley answered her phone.
�Hi Ashley,� Amanda said. �Where are you guys?�
�All of us but Dalandra are with Jr and Dalandra is with Kevin,� Ashley told here. �Were just checking up on are boys. Oh my gosh guess what? I think Robby will have a girlfriend by the end of the week because of me.�
�Ok,� Amanda said.
�Now that is a long story,� Ashley commented on the Robby/Girlfriend situation.
�Ok,� Amanda said. �Do you want me to meet you at Jr.�s garage or what?�
�Sure,� Ashley answered. �So I can give you the scoop on qualifying plus the story.�
�Ok,� Amanda said. �I will be right over. Bye!�
�Bye!� Ashley said. Then Ashley let the other girls know that Amanda was heading over here.
Taylor came running over and said, �Hey.�
�Hey Taylor,� Teresa said. �Is everything ok?�
�By the way you were coming I thought something was up,� Kelley answered.
�Yea,� Ashley agreed. �What is going on Taylor?�
�Well I saw Jimmie and Jeff and they were thinking of something,� Taylor reported.
�Ok,� Ashley said. �Did you hear them say something or what Taylor?�
�Nope but they looked like they had a plan,� Taylor answered. �So I decided to come run over here to stick with you guys.�
�Ok,� Ashley said. �Did you see Amanda coming this way?�
�No,� Taylor answered.
�Ok,� replied Ashley.
�Why?� Taylor asked.
�I am just wondering,� Ashley answered.
�ASHLEY!� Taylor yelled at Ashley. �TELL ME WHY!�
�Oh ok Taylor,� Ashley finally gave in. �Amanda called me and she said that she will be here soon but I thought you would see her while running over here.�
�Good pt Ash,� Taylor commented. �Gosh I never thought of that.�
�Ok,� Ashley said.
�Now if she isn�t here soon look out,� Taylor threatened.
�Ok,� Ashley said.
�Is that a good thing to say?� Taylor asked. �I don�t want to get in trouble.�
�Ok,� Ashley said.
�Where oh where is Amanda?� Taylor wondered.
Ashley looked around and then she said, �She is coming. I see her.�
Amanda came and saw the girls there. Taylor was peaking around seeing if she saw Jimmie and Jeff.
�What are you doing Taylor?� Amanda asked.
�Spying,� Taylor answered.
�Why?� Amanda wondered.
�Jimmie and Jeff were thinking of something so I�m seeing if they are coming,� Taylor explained to Amanda.
�Oh ok,� Amanda said.
�How do you feel now Amanda?� Ashley asked.
�Better,� Amanda answered.
�That is good to hear,� replied Ashley.
�Yea,� Amanda said. �What did I miss?�
�Robby has a crush on this girl that Ashley told to come today and that girl is her friend Nicole,� Taylor started. �Now Nicole is going to be here in 2 hours and 45 minutes.�
�Ok,� Amanda said.
�Also top 10 from bgn q are Kevin, Jr, Mikey, Scott Riggs, David Green, Brian Vickers, Bobby Hamilton Jr, Ron Hornaday Jr, Shane Hmiel and then Martin,� Taylor added. �So Dale Jr and Kevin start on the front row for both races. That isn�t fair is it? Well good for me.�
�I don�t really know Taylor,� Amanda said.
�For Jr and Kevin fans, its all good,� Taylor started. �For some other people there ok with it but a bunch of are probally pissed off like always. The same bunch that are pissed off at the DEI plate domination but you know what? I don�t care.�
�Ok,� Amanda said.
�Anyone agree?� Taylor asked.
�Yes we agree Taylor,� everyone said together.
Taylor just pondered as the boys and Dalandra came to join them.
�Hi everyone,� Amanda greeted everyone.
�Hi,� everyone said except Amanda.
�Are you feeling better Amanda?� Mikey asked.
�Yes I am,� Amanda answered.
�That is good to hear,� Mikey commented.
�Yes it is Mikey,� Robby agreed. �Taylor how�s your wrist?�
�My wrist is much better Robby,� Taylor told Robby.
�Good,� Teresa commented. �And how�s your ankle Ash?�
�My ankle feels a little bit better today,� Ashley answered.
�So you have got to where you can walk on it a little bit more then before?� Amanda wondered.
�Yes,� Ashley told her.
�Well I�m always here for ya,� Jr told Ashley. �Alright when is Nicole gonna be here?�
�Thanks Jr,� Ashley thanked Jr. �Nicole will be here in about an hour and a half.�
�What do you guys wanna do till then?� Amanda asked. �And how was practice for all you boys?�
�What about we go back to my motor coach and talk about practice?� Mikey suggested.
�Good pt,� Robby answered. �Practice talk will be good.�
�Ok,� Mikey said. �Lets go.�
