Chapter 52: The Aftermath of the capture
�Everyone ok?� Jr asked. �Ashley is your ankle worst? Taylor is your wrist worst?�
�I think that we are all ok,� Ashley answered. �I don�t know about Amanda but my ankle feels a little bit better right now.�
�My wrist is not hurting that much anymore Jr,� Taylor told Jr.
�Amanda are you ok?� Mikey asked Amanda. �I was so worried.�
�I think that I am ok Mikey but I feel a little bit sick,� Amanda told Mikey.
�Here I�ll cuddle you,� Mikey said. He then went over to her and started to cuddle her.
�Ok that�s three out of the rest of us,� Jr said. �Teresa, Kelley, mom, Brianna, BONO, Robby and Steve are you all ok?�
�We are all fine Jr,� Teresa, Kelley, Brenda and Brianna said.
�We are fine too,� BONO, Robby and Steve added.
�Thanks Mikey,� Amanda thanked Mikey.
�Your welcome sweetie,� replied Mikey.
�Well I�m glad we got out of this mess,� Robby started. �Now with Amanda I am thinking she should at least go get checked out and make sure everything is fine because I am not about to deal with something later.�
�Ok,� Mikey said.
�Is that fine with you?� Robby asked Amanda.
�Yea,� answered Amanda.
�Then lets go,� Teresa said.
Then Robby and Mikey took Amanda to the infield care centre while everybody else tried to catch up. When they got to the infield care centre they waited for the doctor to get back. When the doctor came back, Mikey told the doctor what all went on. Then Mikey and Amanda followed the doctor into the room.
�So Mikey explained in his story that you feel sick,� the doctor started. �So my questions is that because your stomach hurts or what?�
�They held me so tight around my stomach,� Amanda told the doctor. �Its hurts now.�
�Ok,� the doctor said. �Now I think that if we take a x-ray we will find where the points are that are probably making it hurt a lot.�
�Ok,� Amanda said.
�So can you please come to the x-ray room and we will take a look at this?� the doctor offered.
�Ok,� Amanda said. Amanda followed the doctor to the x-ray room.
while Mikey was waiting for Amanda to get out of the x-ray room he was worried about her.
�Mikey come here,� Jr said to Mikey.
�Ok,� Mikey said. Then Mikey went over to Jr.
�Now I know that you are worried about Amanda just like I was worried about Ashley,� Jr started. �Now the best thing you can do is think positive ok?�
�Ok,� Mikey said. �Thanks for the advice Jr. You are a good friend.�
�Hey how long have you two been friends?� Robby asked. �I know since 2001.�
�Yes�but my dad knew Mikey for a long time before his death,� Jr answered.
�I�ve heard of that story,� Kevin said. �There is a story behind why Mikey was hired to do with that correct?�
�Yes,� Jr answered.
�I mean I heard it from some where,� Kevin continued. �Maybe from one of you two.�
�Oh ok,� Jr said.
�And Mikey you are a lucky boy,� Kevin added.
�Why am I lucky Kevin?� Mikey wondered.
�To be on the same team as your very best friend,� Kevin told Mikey.
�Yes I guess,� Mikey said.
�What about me?� Robby asked.
�You are lucky too when you got your start with RCR back in 2001 subbing for Mike Skinner,� Kevin told Robby.
�Ya that was the beginning of your career with RCR,� Mikey added. �And hey your with Kevin.�
�Yep,� Robby agreed.
�And I am lucky to know Dale Jr pretty well since he is awesome,� Steve added.
�Yep�and I think that you started your career with DEI right?� Jr double checked.
�Yep,� Steve answered. �Second driver hired.�
�Ok,� Jr said.
�So Jr you were the third driver hired?� Kevin asked.
�Yes I was,� Jr answered.
�That is weird since you are his son,� Kevin thought. �I thought he would hire you first.�
�I know,� Jr agreed. �But I was the 3rd to be hired because I was driving on the short tracks for awhile.�
�Yep and then hired for the bgn team after Steve was moved to cup,� Kevin added.
�Right,� Jr agreed.
�Um Mikey,� the doctor said as he entered where everyone was. �Amanda has asked that you come so you can hear this.�
�Don�t worry,� Jr reminded him. �She will be ok Mikey.�
�Ok,� Mikey said. Then Mikey went to the room to find out the news.
�Mikey hold Amanda�s hand,� the doctor directed.
Mikey then held her hand and said, �Oh please I hope its good news.�
�Amanda has just a stomach ache,� the doctor told them.
�Well I guess it was better off to come and check to see what it was before anything else,� Mikey summed it up.
�Yep�Amanda I just want you to get some rest for the rest of the day,� the doctor added.
�Ok,� Amanda said.
�Thanks for letting me know what was wrong with Amanda,� Mikey thanked the doctor.
�Anytime Michael,� the doctor said.
�Bye,� Amanda and Mikey said. They then meet up with the rest of the group waiting for Amanda to come back with Mikey.
�So how was it Mikey?� Jr asked.
�It was better then I expected,� Mikey started. �Amanda just has a stomach ache and she needs some rest for the rest of the day.�
�Well that is a good thing,� Robby commented.
�Yep,� Mikey agreed.
Robby whispered to Mikey, �I think you owe someone a thank you.�
�Thanks,� Mikey thanked Jr.
�Well lets go to your motor coach Mikey,� Robby suggested. �NASCAR held off qualifying before because of the flying thing so they are starting it in 10 minutes then they�ll have cup practice.�
�Ok Robby,� Mikey said.
�I kept track of that stuff well you were all busy,� Robby added.
�Thanks for letting us know,� Mikey thanked Robby.
�Your welcome Mikey,� replied Robby. Then they all went to Mikey�s motor coach
