Chapter 5: The Date
The plane landed at Daytona. Everybody got off and then stood around waiting for a ride to the hotel where they were staying. Their ride came and they all went to their hotel rooms. The girls got dressed up and waited for Jr and Mikey to go out for dinner.
�Alrighty lets walk since it�s a nice night.� Mikey said. �I decided to go to the to the restaurant where me and jr had are lil snack last time we were here.�
�Ok then.� Ashley said as they began to walk there. When they got there, they walked in and then waited to get their table. When the waiter came and got them and put them at a table. They got the menus and started looking at the choices.
�How big are the servings here?� Ashley asked Jr as she started to look over the menu.
�The servings are good size here.� Jr replied.
The waiter then came. �Hi.� She began to say. �My name is Rusty and I will be your waiter tonight. Do you like anything to drink?�
�Yes plz.� Ashley replied first. �Can I have a glass of wine plz?�
�I would like some water please?� Amanda then said
�I will have the same.� Mikey said next.
�And for you sir?� she said as she looked at jr.
�I would like to have some wine,� Jr said.
�Ok. I�ll be right back with your drinks.� She said and then she left.
�What do you guys want to talk about?� Amanda asked after she left.
�It�s up to you Amanda.� Mikey says back to Amanda.
�Ok.� Mikey said.
JR whispers something to Ashley that Mikey and Amanda don't hear. Amanda and Mikey just started talking about things. Ashley and JR start talking also till the waiter brings their food. When the waiter brings their food, they started to eat. They all eat their meal and then the men pay the bill. They then all leave for a walk down the beach. When they got to the beach, it was almost sunset and they then found somewhere to sit. They sat and watched as the sunsets since it�s a beautiful site
�It is a beautiful place to see the sunset to jr.� Ashley said to Jr.
�I agree.� Jr replied. �The beach is always a nice place to go. The only problem is the pollution. If there wasn't pollution, then it would be fresh water so we could have a swim in between stuff at the track.�
Ashley totally agreed with jr about the problem with the pollution.
�Does anyone have a solution to this?� Mikey asked as he looked over at them. Amanda was thinking about a solution. Then Amanda forgot what she was thinking about
�Here's a question.....do the racecars cause pollution?� Ashley said and then sat closer to JR.
�I might know the answer but we can check with Tony Eury Jr. tomorrow when we are at the track.� Jr said.
�Or Tony Eury since they are the head guys of the bud crew.� Ashley suggested. �Anyways, anybody have any other plans?�
�No I don't have any other plans.� Mikey said.
�I don't have any plans either.� Amanda said.
�Is it 11pm yet?� JR asked. Ashley leaned her head on his shoulder
Amanda looks at her watch. �it just 9:30 jr.� She says. Amanda then leans her head on Mikey�s shoulder
�When should we do the interview jr?� Ashley asked thinking of something to talk about.
�What about in the morning?� Amanda suggested.
�The best time would be after practice since I can make it interesting with ya.� Jr said.
�Ok. That is fine with me.� Ashley said. They all started to walk back to their rooms. Ashley kept thinking about how her dreams could come true like this. When they got back to the hotel rooms that they were staying in. Mikey and Jr give a kiss to Amanda and Ashley and tell them good night. The girls give them a big hug back and they all went to sleep.
