Chapter 21: The Aftermath of the Plan
They all then heard a knock on the door. Ty went up to the door and asked who it was. The person was John Darvey.
�Ok,� Ty said. �You can come in.�
Ty opened the door and let him in. Jr gave the ice to Kevin and said, �Hello John.�
�Hi,� John said.
Kevin put the ice in the spot it hurt and Jr sat next to him.
�What happen to your arm Kevin?� John asked.
�Its from Jimmie Johnson when he was grabbing me really tightly,� answered Kevin.
�Ok,� John said. �Please tell me what happened Kevin and Jr.�
�Well, what happened was me and Kevin agreed to meet at the pole in the morning,� Jr started. �So, we got up and meet there. Johnson then came running out of his motor coach and started asking us questions about why I forgived Kevin after California. So then he left and went and talked with Jeff Gordon and we just kept talking about stuff. So they both came back and both kept up with me forgiving Harvick. Harvick, wanna continue now?�
�Sure Jr,� Kevin accepted. �Then Jeff grabbed Jr and Jimmie grabbed me and then Jeff let go of Jr and Jr ran to call Mike and that�s what he did. While he was gone, Jimmie was holding me real tight which is when I hurt my arm there. Jr then came back with Mikey, Robby and Ty over and whispered the scenario and they got me away from Jimmie. We all then ran here and that was that with the deal.�
�Ok,� John said.
�Well, I personally would like something done since he has been dissing us about the plate racing and Robby secretly found out without him knowing that he was mad at me and Kevin about that deal and so on,� Jr said.
�Ok,� John said. �I will let Mike know about this in detail and let us see what will be going to happen with Jimmie. Ok Jr?�
�Alrighty then,� replied Jr.
�Ok,� John says. �Well, I better give this report to Mike. Talk with you guys later. Bye!�
They all said bye and then John left. When Ashley came to the track�she went to Jr�s trailer and went inside and saw Robby, Kevin, Mikey and Ty all talking with Jr.
�Hey guys,� Ashley said.
�Hi Ashley,� the guys said.
�What�s up?� Ashley asks
�Nothing much but my arm is hurting,� replies Kevin.
�Why is that?� wonders Ashley.
�Because Jimmie grabbed me so hard,� Kevin explains.
�So this is now becoming a Johnson vs. RCR & DEI fight?� Ashley questions.
�Yes,� Kevin replies.
�Add Gordon to Johnson,� Jr adds.
�Ohh,� Ashley says. �Tell me what happened.�
�Alrighty then,� Jr starts. �Me and Kevin were going to meet at the big pole together. So we did and Johnson came out and started asking me questions bout why I forgived Harvick after California. After awhile, Johnson left and then came back with Jeff Gordon. Harvick, why don�t you continue?�
�Ok,� Kevin accepts. �Then Jeff was asking me about why Jr forgived me and then he grabbed Jr and Jimmie grabbed me. When Jr was released, he called Mike and then Jr, Ty, Robby and Mikey helped me get out of Jimmie�s hands.
�Damn, that�s serious,� Ashley comments.
�Yep�before you came, John came to see us and ask about Jimmie and what he did to us,� Kevin adds.
�Is he gonna do something about it?� wonders Ashley.
�Yes he is,� replies Kevin.
�Well, am I ever glad and lets hope that he doesn�t attack you guys on your way for qualifying and so on,� Ashley says.
�I hope so too,� Kevin commented.
�That reminds me, the mandatory meeting is in half an hour at 10am so then we have practice at 11am to noon and qualifying at 1pm,� Ty adds in.
�Ok,� Kevin says. �Thanks for remind us.�
�Not a problem Kevin,� Ty said.
�Ok,� Kevin says. �Well guys, we better get ready. I will talk with you later. Bye.�
Everyone said bye to each other and everyone left Jr.�s trailer but Jr and Ashley.
�I am glad that you are ok,� Ashley says.
�Well, thanks,� Jr says. �Gosh, I don�t know how bad that Johnson really hurt Harvick�s arm.
�Oh ok,� Ashley says.
�I mean, Harvick really didn�t explain how bad it hurt,� Jr started. �Well, I got to get my racing suit on so I�ll be right back.�
�Ok,� Ashley says.
Jr went to the back to change into his racing suit. Jr then came back from changing into his racing suit.
�Well, I�m gonna go to the garage and see what the crew is up to, get Tony Eury and head to the meeting,� Jr says.
�Ok,� Ashley says. �I will talk with you later. Bye.�
�Bye,� Jr says.
Then Jr went off to the garage while Ashley went to go and start her work with FOX. Jr got to the garage and saw that Tony Eury was talking with Slugger and Mikey.
�Hi Tony, Slugger and Mikey,� Jr says.
�Hey,� Mikey says. �I was just telling them what happened to you and Harvick.�
�Ok,� Jr says.
�Anyone seen Kevin since?� Tony Eury asks.
�No I haven�t,� replies Jr.
�Well, lets all head over to the meeting and see if he�s there,� Tony Eury suggested.
�Ok,� Jr agrees.
