Chapter 20: The Plan
The next morning, Mikey and Ty went into Jr.�s trailer to get things set up. Mikey called Robby and told him to sneak over to Jr�s trailer. He told him that they were doing a plan.
�Ok, what is the plan?� wondered Robby.
�Come over and we�ll tell ya,� replied Mikey. �Were doing it as soon as you come over since Jr is putting it in his pocket right now,�
�Ok,� Robby said. Robby came running out of his trailer and sneaked into Jr.�s. Robby enters the trailer.
When he got there, he went over to where Mikey was standing with Ty and Jr. Mikey was on the phone with Dalandra getting ready to tell her to tell Kevin to go out. After Mikey hung up the phone with Dalandra, he told Jr that Kevin was coming.
�You mean, he�s going to the pole,� replied Jr. �Alright, I�m leaving for the pole. Get ready to listen.�
�Ok,� Mikey said.
Jr left the trailer to go the pole and as he was going over, he saw Kevin Harvick but he also saw Johnson getting his shows on at Johnson�s trailer through the window. When Jr got to the pole, Kevin was already there.
�Hey Kevin,� Jr said. �Yo, I saw Johnson putting his shoes on. You ready?�
�I am ready,� replied Kevin.
Johnson came running out the door and ran over to where Jr and Kevin were standing.
�Hi Kevin and Jr,� Jimmie said.
�Hi,� Jr said.
�Hey,� Kevin says.
�I am going to ask you this,� Jr looked at Jimmie. �Why don�t you like me and Kevin as friends?�
�Well, I don�t like you that much JR because your cheating on plate racing,� Jimmie explained. �And I don�t like Harvick since he is associated with DEI in the RAD program.�
�Ok,� Jr said. �I am just letting you know that we are not cheating on the plate racing.�
�Prove it!� Jimmie challenged him. �Now, I got a question for Jr that kind of has to do with Kevin. Why would you forgive him after that California deal?�
�I forgive him after that California deal,� Jr stated.
�But why would you?� Jimmie asked.
�Because we are friends,� replied Jr.
�Well, actually buddies,� Kevin added. �Now, after we talked about it in his trailer and that, we both came to the same conclusion it was a racing deal that happened and it is something that can�t break a friendship we have like we do.�
�Ok but I don�t think that you should be buddies after the California deal anyways,� Jimmie said.
�With the friendship I have with Kevin, we are,� Jr started. �Ne wayz, it wasn�t like I got hurt really badly. You know what, you don�t know the true meaning of friendship period and you don�t really know either of us that well to understand.�
After the comment that was made by Jr, Jimmie got pissed off and walked off to Jeff Gordon.
When Jimmie got over there, he said, �Did you hear what they said about their friendship and that?�
�No I didn�t,� replied Jeff. �Sorry Jimmie.�
�Its ok Jeff,� Jimmie started. �Ok, I asked Jr why he forgived Kevin after California and he was like...�because we are friends and me & Kevin have a great friendship and you don�t know the meaning of true friendship and who we are��then Kevin added �yea and after we talked bout it we figured out it was just a plain racing deal and its something that can�t break our friendship!� What do you think of that?�
�I don�t like the idea,� replied Jeff.
�Of them forgiving each other?� Jimmie questioned.
�Yea,� answered Jeff.
�Then can you come help me out with those two and get this straight with them since we are buddies?� Jimmie asked.
�Sure,� answers Jeff.
So Jeff and Jimmie went back over to where Kevin and Jr were standing.
�Hi Kevin and Jr,� Jeff said.
Jr and Kevin said hi back.
�Jimmie was telling me all about what you guys were talking about,� Jeff started. �I am totally disagreeing with you guys.�
�Why Jeff?� Jr wondered.
�Because its crazy that after a hard wreck like that Jr that you�d forgive Kevin,� replied Jeff.
�Yes,� Jr said. �You know what Jeff, the wreck is over with and I am still buddies with Kevin.�
�But I mean, he could of hurt you worse in that and you know it cost you a shot at the cup?� Jeff stated.
�I know but I got a feeling that I would have a shot at the cup this year,� answered Jr.
Jeff walked closer to Jr and grabbed him and said, �Listen, if someone costed me a shot at the cup, I�d be pissed at them. So if your not pissed at Kevin, then your not serious bout this are you?�
�I am serious about this and I am not mad at Kevin anymore,� replied Jr.
�Now let go of him Jeff,� Kevin yelled. �You know that is a vilation of the NASCAR rule book.�
�Ok,� Jeff said. But Jeff didn�t let go of Jr. Jimmie then grabbed Kevin so he wouldn�t go near Jeff.
Meanwhile, back at the trailer, they heard what was going on and then, they were thinking of a plan to get back at Jimmie and Jeff.
�Lets stop planning for a second,� Mikey suggested. �We realize they are in deep trouble and we know the story so we can help. Now, I think we should go out there and get Jr and Kevin out of their hands, then get back at them.�
So, they went with Mikey�s plan and went outside to help Jr and Kevin.
They came over and Jr said, �Let go of me now Jeff. This is a report I�m telling Mike Helton right away, no kidding.�
Then Jeff let him go and Jr ran to his trailer and then called Mike Helton on his cell phone.
�Hello,� Mike answered the phone. �Now, you are only suppose to call me if this is important. So, what is the matter?�
�Its important Mike,� Jr said. �I went to talk to Jimmie Johnson and Jeff was with him and then Jeff grabbed me and Jimmie grabbed Kevin since he was with me.�
�Ok, so it is,� Mike says. �Now, are you ok and does Jimmie still have Kevin?�
�I am ok but Jimmie still has Kevin,� replied Jr.
�Alright, if he starts hurting Kevin, get him out of his hands but if not, stay calm because I�m sending John Darvey over, ok?�
�Ok,� Jr said. �Thanks Mike.�
�Your welcome Jr,� Mike said.
Then he hung up the phone and looked outside and saw that Jimmie still had Kevin and he was trying to hurt him. Jr went out and whispered to Mikey, Robby and Ty what Mike said and they thought of a quick plan to get Kevin out of Jimmie�s hands quickly. Ty and Robby went over to Jimmie and tried to get Kevin out of his hands fast and then they called Mikey and Jr for backup. Jr and Mikey came running over and decided that to first get Jimmie�s hands and then get Kevin out and escape fast. Then Kevin escaped from Jimmie�s hands and then ran to Jr�s trailer with the rest of the guys.
�You ok Kevin?� Jr asked. �I mean, if anything is wrong, let me know because I wanna know if something is wrong.�
�I am ok but I am hurting back where Jimmie was holding me,� Kevin explained.
�Where exactly is that and how much is it hurting?� Mikey wondered.
�Its my arms where he squeezed me so hard,� Kevin answered.
�Well, want any ice to make it a bit better since I have some in the frezzer?� Jr suggested.
�Ok,� Kevin accepted. �That will help. Thanks Jr.�
�No problem Kevin,� Jr said.
Jr then went to the freezer to get Kevin a piece of ice.
