Chapter 16: The Dinner
Then Ashley walked into the hotel and then went to her room. She went in the door and started getting ready for the night. Jr went and knocked on her hotel room and Ashley answered it.
�Hello, I just finished getting ready,� Ashley said.
�Hi,� Jr said. �Let�s go. I would tell you the place where we are going but it will be a surprise for you, ok Ashley?�
�Ok,� Ashley said.
Then Jr and Ashley walked to the restaurant.
�I like your choice,� Ashley said.
�Thanks,� Jr replied. �It�s a Chinese restaurant.�
�Well, I do like Chinese food so I love the choice a lot,� Ashley assured him.
�I also like Chinese food too,� Jr said. �Thanks.�
�You�re welcome,� Ashley said.
Then when the waitress showed them to the table, Ashley and Jr sat down and talked about Ashley�s meeting with Chris and Jeff in the Hollywood Hotel.
�He just wanted to say that I�m not suppose to start arguments with them halfway through a interview with a driver,� Ashley explained.
�Ok,� Jr said. �I guess that they are happy that you joined the Fox Sports crew.�
�I think they are,� Ashley said.
�That�s good to hear,� Jr said.
Then the food arrived. Ashley started eating and so did Jr.
Ashley then said, �Excuse me. I have to go to the washroom.�
�Ok,� Jr said.
Ashley then went in to the washroom. Then a few minutes later, Ashley came back from the washroom.
�Well, do you have any plans after were done?� Ashley asked.
�No,� Jr replied. �Why?�
�Just curious,� Ashley said.
�Oh, ok.� Jr said.
Ashley then finished her meal up and said, �Why don�t we go to the beach like we did the other night?�
�Sure but I need to get back earlier because I have happy hour tomorrow morning,� Jr replied.
�You mean race right?� Ashley double checked with him.
�Yes I mean race,� Jr said. �I am a little tired since today was a long day for me.�
�Yes it was a long day,� Ashley agreed. �Well, if you want we don�t have to do the walk tonight.�
�Ok,� Jr said. �We can still take a walk tonight if you want to?�
�Well, I think it will be better for both of us if we both go back to the hotel and sleep, if that�s ok?� Ashley suggested.
�That�s ok with me,� Jr accepted.
Ashley smiled as they got ready to leave the restaurant. Jr and Ashley walked back to the hotel.
When they got there, Ashley said, �Bye Jr. Sweet dreams.�
�You too Ashley,� Jr said.
Ashley then went to her hotel and opened the door. And Jr gave Ashley a kiss good night then Jr went to his hotel room. Ashley then went to her bedroom in her hotel and got in her PJs on and then she went to sleep.
