Chapter 11: Practice
While Matt was interviewing Mikey, Jr was talking to the crew bout what has went on with that guy.
�What is going on with the guy following you, Mikey, Amanda and Ashley around?� one of the crew members asked
�I don�t know but whatever he is doing, he destroyed my hotel.� Jr answered. �No, we think he�s the guy that was following Amanda and Ash and he got away. I don�t know.�
�That is one crazy man.� One of the crew members replied
�Damn Straight!� Jr agreed
�Anyways, practice started in 10mins.� Tony Eury said changing the topic. �So let�s get ready.�
So, they guys got ready for practice. When the track was open for practice, jr was first on the track.
�How is the car working?� Tony Jr. asked wondering how is driver was doing.
�Awesome.� Jr said. �Better then I thought you�d get it.�
�10-4� Tony Jr. said thinking bout that comment.
�Now, ur leading the pack of cars.� Ty commented. �Wanna drop to last or at least middle of the pack and test how fast it takes to get back to first?�
�Ok.� Jr answer. Jr dropped back in the middle of the pack to test how fast it takes him to get back to first.
�Stop watch is ready.� Tony Jr. said as he set the stop watch up. �Go!�
So Jr went around the track and he got to the front of the pack in 6 laps.
�Damn, that was fast.� Tony Jr commented.
�I know.� Jr said. �How long did it take me to get to the front of the pack?�
�6 laps; about 40 seconds to get around this track so 40 times 6 equals?�
�If I do that math, it�s about 240 seconds.� Jr said. �That was fast.�
�Yepper.� Tony Jr commented. �Quicker then last yr. Ok, I would of done the math but Richie has the calculator in the garage trying to figure out our fuel mileage straight.�
�Ok.� Jr said thinking bout that.
�Wanna just go put the car in the garage and end practice so we don�t take a chance of getting in a practice wreck?� Tony Eury suggested.
�10-4� Jr agreed. Jr brought the car into the garage and shut the engine off. He then got out smiling. �Great job with car to all the bud crew.�
�Yepper.� Tony Jr agreed. �Great building and setup.�
Then Jr was looking for Ashley but he then decided to watch the rest of the practice first before going to find Ashley. So he went and sat on the top of the trailer. When he was about to go up., he found the creep standing on top of the trailer so he ran to the garage to let Tony Jr. know that he saw the creep standing on the top of the trailer.
When he got there, he yelled, �Tony Jr, the damn creep is on top of the trailer and is like coming here.�
�Ok jr.� Tony Jr said looking over at the trailer. �Let�s find Mike and let him know that he is here.�
So, they ran to the office where Mike was working in the grand stands and Jr knocked on the door.
�Why are you guys here?� Mike asked getting a little mad at the two of them.
�The guy is here and he is on top of my trailer.� Jr started
�And we saw him getting down and coming to are garage.� Tony Jr said. �So, help me!�
�Ok.� Mike said. �I will call the police right now.�
�Thanks and he better not ruin are perfect car.� Tony Jr said getting real worried bout their perfect car. Mike called the police and one of the cars showed up.
�Hi.� The cop said. �What is going on here?�
�Crazy creep has been chasing the DEI teams and he is now on his way here or in the bud garage or on top of the bud trailer.� Tony Jr said.
�Ok.� The cop accepted the info. �What does he look like?�
Jr looked and said as he pointed to the guy, �That guy! The guy that is in my garage with a hammer.�
�Ok.� The cop replied. �I am going down there right now.� So the cop got into the garage area and he was looking for the guy. He sees the guy and say, �Put your hands up. You are under arrest.� The guy put his hands and the cop handcuffed him and then put the guy in the police car.
His partner went back to where Mike was with Tony Jr and Jr. He said, �Alright, area is clear. He is caught.�
Jr and Tony Jr were relived that they caught the guy. �Thank you.� They all said together.
�Your welcome.� The cop said. �Ok, bye.� The cops left with the guy.
�You guys need to head back and work on your car.� Mike said. �Have a good day guys. Bye.�
�Ok, bye.� Tony Jr said. �Jr lets go see if he did anything to are perfect car.
�Ok.� Jr agreed.
